“This is a perfect little place to clear your mind and enjoy nature while still having everything you need. The whole ranch is beautiful. The back deck is perfect for grilling and relaxing. Nice yard in front with a great porch to enjoy also.”

“This house is small but just right for 2 people. Did not need the upstairs bunks. Had all the kitchen utensils needed. The only concern was the totally dry Sabinal River behind it. Property was clean and well-organized…everything in good working order. Quiet and comfortable.”

“Loved staying at the yurt! Was so comfortable and a great space. We had a small issue with the hot tub and it was addressed and fixed literally within 30 minutes of messaging host! Everything was super clean, close to town. Definitely recommend”

“This little cabin is exactly what we were hoping for! Secluded, great covered patios in front and back, and back patio is so relaxing! Hummingbird feeder, bird feeders and birdbath all get a lot of activity, plus a great view of the deer, turkeys and hogs when they come out to eat. This place had everything we needed…charcoal grill, cookware, coffee, etc. very clean as well. Buddy the cat was great company too! Definitely would come back!”

“The wife and I took some time away from work to enjoy our 33rd Anniversary. We couldn’t have picked a better spot. Quiet and secluded. Nice viewing deck up the hill and a small pond around back. Enjoyable evenings under the trees and good alone time for us. Home had everything you need and could have wanted. “Relaxing and remote”

“My family and I came to town for a wedding and chose to stay at the Guin House. Excellent location, had everything you could have wanted, and felt like walking into your great grandparents. We enjoyed our stay and the location. My only complaints are the house is in dire need of a deep clean. Dirt, leaves, sticks, and cobwebs were everywhere. Nails need to be tended to on the deck. Thin river shoes kids like to wear were not safe out there. Also, you’ll either have a really hot or really cold……

“This was a nice, mostly clean, well appointed, secluded property. Although most of the property was very clean and comfortable, one of the guest bedrooms had someone's dirty socks and some dead bugs in it so I assumed it had not been cleaned. Check-in was not as smooth as I'm used to at VRBOs. I received no check in instructions, so called the host 5 minutes before check in time and she seemed bit overwhelmed. My call was met with “can I call you back”. vs "hello". She did call right back and……

“The Cowboy Haus is perfect and only needs a ball point pen on the guestbook so that short timer renters can leave their comments while still there! The OST restaurant is a hoot and so friendly. Thanks Natalie - we love your place and will visit you whenever we are in Bandera again! Frisbee golf course is walking distance and we saw lots of deer there along the riverbed....enjoy the eclipse today - clear skies! Brian & Teresa”

“This is our third time to stay at Vaden House on a 3-day Holiday weekend. Each time it has been a welcome retreat from from our home in Austin. Its quiet, rustic, and the river is about 40 yards from our front door. The river is why we come. There is a canoe available to take a trip up to the 'tubs' and its perfect to just float around on tubes all afternoon. Its a perfect get-a-way for two 65 year old adventurist's and their dog.”

“Just what I needed! Wish I came sooner when it was cooler for more hiking but weather was still wonderful. Saw the Ring of Fire Totality eclipse on that Monday 4/8/24. Dark skies with stars shining at night with a lightening storm one night. Everything was exactly as I hoped for during my stay. I will be back and perhaps bring a companion! Thank you!”
