  • A delightful cottage set in beautiful private gardens on an equestrian property. Secluded and quiet away from any road or noise. Short walk along river to the beach and only 15 min walk along coastal walkway to Oakura .
    Full amenities with lavish furniture and interior.
    River boundary around property with beach out front . Water sports paradise , fishing ,surfing, kiting and foiling . Great beach for swimming and a river boundary setting with its own swimming holes . A truely unique cottage setting , large decking and BBQ surrounding paddocks with horses giving a true country vibe with very close proximity to Oakura township , with numerous restaurants and food outlets .Approx 15 min drive to New Plymouth city .
    Taranaki has the highest sun shine hours in New Zealand with tons of great places to visit . Only 5 min drive to national park with its numerous tracks. Golf course only 10 mins from cottage. (Kaitaki golf club).This cottage snd location offers a unique and private experience.

Such a lovely spot to spend a night. Great location, near the beach and secluded, but a short drive to New Plymouth. Felt very cosy with the log burner going, and we loved seeing the horses in the morning. We’d love to stay again, and for longer next time.
