We had a wonderful stay at your place by Lake Taupo. The panoramic lake views are absolutely stunning — waking up to that scenery was truly special. The peaceful atmosphere and beautiful surroundings made our time there incredibly relaxing. Everything was comfortable and well prepared, and we really appreciated the care and attention to detail. Thank you for such a lovely experience — we would happily return!

Taupo - what a stunning place to visit! The house exceeded our expectations and very comfortably accommodated seven adults. Everything that we needed was supplied and the woodpile came in very handy for a nice fire that kept the whole house warm and cosy. The township was an easy drive away and the views of Lake Taupo from the deck were an added bonus. We drove up to the snowfields of Mount Ruapehu (about 2 hours drive) and were rewarded with a beautiful day and plenty of snow. Huka Falls was only a 20 minute drive from the house and Hobbiton (where the Lord of the Rings was primarily filmed) was a two and a half drive through stunning scenery. The house was a perfect place to base ourselves. The bedrooms had plenty of room with lots of doonas and blankets for everyone. The living room, kitchen and bathrooms had plenty of room so we weren't falling over each other and there was no problem with the hot water system so we all had nice hot showers. I would highly recommend this house to travellers and we will definitely book this house again when we next visit New Zealand.
