Special family time

My sister had returned from the UK with her kids for the holiday period. We couldn’t have wished for a better place to stay. Location was spot on, walking distance to town, hot pools and restaurants. The house had everything you needed. The kitchen had everything a normal home would have, the beds are amazing! Aircon in all rooms, great little BBQ and outdoor area. The photos don’t show how spacious it actually is. We had a great time in a lovely place. Thank you so much.

Easter in Maunganui

Excellent location , across from the beach , you are in a bit of a fish bowl with all passer buy's . Well furnished , quality knives that could actually cut something . The only slight complaint was the shower , very small , felt like I was on a cruise ship . It did not math the quality of the rest of the place .

This place is awesome! And the Communication was clear. Pictures don’t do this place justice, it’s a lot bigger than I expected. The place was spotless and very comfortable, the only negative is that we didn’t stay longer. Highly recommend and we will be back. 👍

Excellent Accommodation - would stay again - a few niggles

POSITIVES : comfortable beds, exactly as photos depicted, clean, fresh, easy to keep tidy, large table good for eating and games, loads of utensils, fully equipped pantry for those extras that you need, awesome view of beach and trees, easy free parking, great shower pressure, quiet at night, nice outdoor setting, good to have 2 laundry racks, friendly and efficient check-in process, safe area and place, not far to walk to main beach area or shops, big fridge, plenty of spare containers for storing food. NEGATIVES : the sheets on the double beds could have been better sizing - they didn't tuck in well; the drier didn't work very well - after an hour it was as wet as when it went in (small load); pillows need replacing; some of the sharp knives need replacing - rusty; need oven instruction manual - took absolute ages for it to cook something very simple. Having to do the dishes before we leave - I find this an odd request - having been a motel cleaner in the past, it is better practice to rely on the efficiency of the cleaner to do the best job for the next guests rather than rely on the previous guests to do a good job of cleaning for the next guests. Same with the recycling request - I have no problem separating the recycling (that was very easy with the containers given) but.... to get the guests to put the bins outside the night before or early in the morning of pickup is a bit like the dishes - not our job. We are guests who pay a lot of money to stay here - we should not have to be relied on to clean dishes and do rubbish duties. We are on holiday from this - if we wanted to continue with these kind of chores we would have chosen a camping site. I have not deducted any stars for this - just informing upcoming guests and hopefully the owners read this also.

Great location

While the outside of the property may be a bit daunting at first impression, once inside the apartment was amazing. It is so well stocked with everything you might need. The kitchen is awesome, the beds soooo comfortable and we loved the little sun room out the front. Having the car locked up in the small garage was a plus. We look forward to staying here again soon.
