Splendid Isolation

Hilltop Villa was exactly as advertised — wonderful views, beautifully open layout, and excellently staffed. We had a catered dinner for six of us the day we arrived, and the food was first-rate. Same for a later breakfast and lunch. One caution: the walk down to the beach is no more than 15 or 20 minutes, but the walk back uphill can take double the time. The good news: There’s that lovely pool waiting for you when you make it back to the top.

Taveuni paradise

We absolutely loved our short stay here. The local hosts were extremely helpful and responsive. Everything we wanted to do and see was arranged smoothly. The house is stunningly beautiful and well stocked. We loved the island and will be booking here again when we return.
