Wonderful 9-day stay at Sere Ni Ika. Beautiful 3 bdrm 2 bath home with incredible views, with stairs to the beach. Entire house made of tropical wood. The housekeeper, Loata, took immaculate care of the house and was so kind. We hired her to cook one evening and our meal was delicious. We also hired the property manager, Byron, to take us to a nearby islet for snorkeling, twice. He picked us up right at the beach and the snorkeling was fabulous. There is an outdoor shower on the path to the beach, a full kitchen, an incredible veranda and a lovely yard. Our dishes were cleaned for us and laundry washed and folded. Luxurious bath towels were provided. There is a small market, a fresh fruit stand, and a small eatery within a few hundred feet of the property. Restaurants are within walking distance or a short taxi drive away. We highly recommend, and hope to return!

Lovely Stay in Matei

Sere Ni Ika was perfect for our families trip to Taveuni. The house is spacious, clean, and well equipped. The caretaker, Loatta, was fantastic and helpful. She’ll cook dinner for a small fee and every meal she made was fantastic. Byron was very helpful in helping us book a few things on our wishlist. Matei is currently off grid and the house is on solar. It was a bit cloudy while we were there and we’d occasionally lose power but the caretakers were quick to get the generator going. We would definitely stay here again if we’re ever lucky enough to return.

Wonderful stay at Sere Ni Ika

Perfect tropical home with lots of windows and doors for air flow and breezes. The front double doors and the back side doors that completely open the house to the outdoors are wonderful. The view is breathtaking. We couldn't take our eyes off it. The kitchen is well appointed with everything you need to make meals. The walk to the beach is down some stairs. At low tide there are a couple of beaches to choose from and at higher tide you have your own swimming pool to swim in. It is exactly what we were looking for. Byron the property manager and Loata the maid were excellent. Byron helped us make our wish list of things to do happen. Loata came in every day and made beds and straightened up while we were gone. She cooked some of our meals and we couldn't have been more thrilled to taste real Fijian foods. All in all a great place to have your Taveuni adventure.

Family holiday in Island Paradise

A unique and beautiful spot right on the water in Fiji. With no end of exploration and discovery options offered in Taveuni from ocean sports off the front deck to hiking, horse riding, farms, villages, rainforests, waterfalls, it is a fantastic spot for a family holiday. Much more laid back and close to the natural Fiji than the Touristy and busy North Coast of Viti Levu and nearby islands. Ably assisted by the property caretaker and local host Loata, everything is effortless to organise. We have spent a lot of time in Taveuni in the past and it is one of our favourite parts of Fiji and we'll be back again.
