Independent apartment in my house (I live upstairs) . On a hill beside Gilão River, in a beautiful Tavira area, just 10 minutes walk to Tavira historical centre. (If you're elderly or have mobility problems, having a car is essencial).
Capacity 4 people, (two bedrooms, 3 beds).
Bedroom 1: Double bed with orthopedic mattress, wardrobe and chest of drawers, with outside window.
Bedroom 2: 2 twin beds, wardrobe and chest of drawers, (this room don't have window to outside).
Bathroom with shower, washbasin. hairdryer, towels and WC.
Kitchenette equipped with: microwave / oven / grill, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, blender, mixer, citrus fruit machine, grinder / grater, iron, washing machine and tumble dryer, fridge / combined; table and 4 chairs, dish wash machine / ceramic stove.
Living room with sofa, TV, Cable TV with 116 channels; US, UK, DE, ES, etc, DVD, unlimited Internet wireless, and storage.
Air conditioning with heating and cool(inverter system).
Towels / sheets / pillows / blankets and comforters included.
Fibre Optic unlimited internet wireless free.
There is not private space outside. The outside area is visible in the pictures.

Insect and Wildlife Info: Our home is located in a hot and humid climate that is teeming with wildlife. Depending on the time of year and the weather conditions, guests may encounter mosquitoes, gnats, love bugs or other bugs. While we do utilize regular pest control services, we are unable to offer any guarantees against or refunds for the occasional bug that may make it inside our home. We do our best to prevent this from occurring and guests can help by keeping doors closed and disposing of trash and storing food in a responsible manner.

The apartment is located 2 minutes from the National Road 125, 5 minutes by car of the Ria Formosa (Natural Park) and the beautiful island of Tavira with its extensive golden sandy beach, restaurants and leisure park. If you prefer, you can choose to go by boat, a 10 minutes trip along the River Séqua / Gilão and Ria Formosa.
With a short walk (10 min.), you can walk to the historical center of Tavira with some of the most beautiful churches in the Algarve, to enjoy traditional fish and vegetables.
The apartment is situated near 3 excellent golf courses (4-8 Km): Benamor 18 holes, Quinta da Ria and Quinta de Cima, 18 holes each in excellent location.
Tavira is situated 35 Km from Faro airport, with easy access to taxis, buses, trains and car hire.
The Spanish border is 20 km away, past the village of Castro Marim, located on a hill, with its well preserved castle of XVII century.
Tavira is a historic town, with the river Séqua / Gilão crossing the city center, which in turn, is crossed by four bridges including the Phoenicia bridge. You can climb to the ruins of its XVIII century castle, with a wonderful view over the city. The Parque Natural Ria Formosa is a haven for more than 20,000 migratory birds.
Tavira has also offered practice Kite-surf and Windsurfing, fishing, hiking, biking and / or boat with expert guides. Then you can still take a cruise down the river Guadiana, through a Natural Park, from the border to Vila Real de Sto. António.
