The house was ideal for us having a 2 might stay in Te Anau. The chopping board and the shelf below it in the bench unit easily jammed and got stuck and it was not possible to close a number of windows to allow the catches to faste,

We loved this quirky, personality-packed property. It's centrally located, spotlessly clean and has a brand new bathroom. The kitchen is well-equipped and I imagine it would be a lovely, cosy house in winter as there is an open fire. Highly recommended!

Would choose again....
Property was very comfortable and sunny which was great in October's cooler days. As a previous long term resident of Te Anau I knew the area I selected and indeed, the house itself. Everything we needed was supplied with the exception of linen which I borrowed from local family and friends. If I had one negative it would be about the supply of linen. When choosing this property I assumed linen was included as per most motels etc. But, only after you actually BOOK do you find out that linen is an additional cost. I think by advertising this way visitors choose it, as the price is a little less and then find that linen is not included. I think anyone offering accommodation should INCLUDE linen. On my enquiry as to why it was not acknowledged in the initial ad I was told that "in this country people like to bring their own linen" Hello I am a KIWI and I know otherwise.
I do recommend this property and would choose it again. My grandson wanted to move in full time!
