Beautiful views & quiet

This is a great house for a summer stay! Located across the valley from the ski area, it has great views and is convenient to both Mountain Village and town. Location is very peaceful and home is lovely with a nicely equipped kitchen.

Everything was great, a couple suggestions, outside fireplace by master bedroom wasn't working, full length mirrors in the bedrooms would be nice, have maintenance check for burnt out light bulbs

Excellent location and amenities

Location is semi isolated, near airport, with spectacular views. House is set whereas you can always enjoy sun or shade on the one of the balconies. The owner must be a cook, kitchen has everything you need to prepare any type of meal. There was coffee and filters when we arrived, nice touch. Short drive to downtown.

the home itself was marvelous. Fireplaces everywhere, heated floors, and a magnificent kitchen. The views from the house or the decks off every room were stunning as well! only suggestions are to have a wider selection of TV channels for guests to enjoy while there, as not all the time can be spent on the slopes or in town.

We loved Villa Mendia. Very spacious and well furnished and decorated. The kitchen was well stocked with all necessary tools for cooking. This is a stunning home.

Just about perfect

We did not want to leave. What a lovely and comfortable home with a gourmet kitchen. It would have been nice to have an umbrella on the patio for a little shade but otherwise this house was just about perfect. The master bath steam shower was powerful and pleasant. Well located. Not too far from town or the village. Will absolutely return.

family ski vacation

Nice location for going to both the ski area and downtown area. The house is in a quiet neighborhood and really close to the Telluride airport. So it was really a short drive to the house, but no noise from the planes though. If there was a question it was resolved or answered very quickly.

Time to regroup and enjoy friendship

The location of the property was great to disengage from the hustle and bustle but still close to town. Perfect for the four of us with two suites. Fabulous views and up to today amenities. Huge fireplace for cozy relaxation and great kitchen with all the required accouterments. A great find and an overall great stay. Highly recomended.

Magnificent!

This magnificent house perched on a hillside is truly extraordinary! Every room is beautifully appointed and fully stocked with everything you might need for your stay. The rooms are all spacious with high ceilings and there are many cozy places to cuddle up with a book and a glass of wine. There is ample space for simply hanging out with your family or fellow travelers and a gorgeous kitchen with every gadget you can imagine. The beds are really comfortable and the towels are all plush and luxurious. The surroundings are incredible, with views from every window, and glimpses of elk and other wildlife all around. The location was perfect, just minutes from town and the ski village. We've stayed in many nice places, but this one blew our socks off!

Best place I have ever stayed!

While being the most elegant, classy, gorgeous place I have ever stayed, this home was also warm, comfortable and homey. I have traveled all over the world and stayed in homes, cottages, condos, hotels, and Inns of every kind but I have never seen a more beautifully appointed home that has every convenience you can imagine. From the fire places throughout the home, the pristinely clean cozy sauna, and the large kitchen and dining room tables to the most incredible views from every window of the surrounding mountains, I was so completely comfortable and in awe of my surroundings...inside and out. The fabulous town of Telluride is just a 5-10 min drive away. The hiking nearby was amazing. I will definitely be back and can not imagine staying anywhere else. It accomodated my party of 6 perfectly and there was room for at least 2 more if you dont count the wonderfully large comfy couch in the den area. Even the linens, towels, soaps and lotions were top of the line. We ate most of our meals in since the very large kitchen was so well appointed and we had some great cooks in our group, but we loved out meal in town at Brown Dog Pizza. I cannot wait to go back and have told many of my friends they have to stay here if they visit the area.
