Pros - The property was well situated on the beach. Access to the beach was great. The property was clean. Great view of the gulf from the balcony. Air conditioners worked well. Property is well furnished. The backyard on the beach side was mowed and maintained. Cons - There was a strong mildew smell on the second floor where the bedrooms were located. My wife slept downstairs on the couch because of the smell. I know this is a beachfront property, and it is probably difficult to prevent moisture from building up inside the unit. However, the smell on the top level was disappointing. I will say that we talked with people staying in other adjacent units, and they expressed the same concerns. One guest frequently stays at the location, and they said this was the first time they encountered a mildew smell in their unit (located a couple down from us but in the same complex--I think managed by a different owner). So, it may be a common occurrence in the area.Property could use a few updates, such as repairing sliding doors, but overall, no big issues.Also, as with any properties close to the beach, be aware that you might encounter snakes. One crossed through our carport, headed in the direction of the beach. However, this is not unusual for any property along the beachfront.
