I also grew up in this town and am well aware of mold, weather elements and yet there seemed to be total disregard for general rental worthiness! “The house was as described, overall clean. Hot tub was nice and we used it at night. The bikes left in the garage to use, tires were flat, pump there but not the right kind for the bike. wanted to use the grill but did not work to light it. “We were there for a wedding so we didn’t get to enjoy the area as much as we hoped. I loved the idea of bikes to get around, we just didn’t have time. I didn’t look for helmets, so do ask. The house is comfortable and spacious, with the back deck being the standout feature: The canal setting is pretty, and we used the hot tub (not pictured in listing) daily and enjoyed the seating around fire pit and chaise lounges. We also kayaked in the canals, which was easy and peaceful.Daniel and Lucia were incredibly responsive whenever we had questions or minor issues (like when the hot tub needed a chemical rebalance) and couldn't have been kinder.
