Nestled on a private property overlooking Southern Island and the enchanting Eel Grass Cove in Tenants Harbor, this classic Maine home offers stunning panoramic ocean views and the perfect escape for creating lifelong memories. Perfect for larger groups or families, but also ideal for a weekend getaway in the spring or fall.

Welcome to Chimerique, where whimsical meets wonderful. Surrounded by towering pines, this serene retreat provides the privacy you crave in beautiful Midcoast Maine. Relax on the expansive decks that stretch across the length of the house, soaking in breathtaking harbor vistas and the soothing sounds of gentle waves. It’s the ideal setting for al fresco dining with family and friends.

A natural path leads to the shoreline, where you can launch a kayak or take a refreshing swim in the cool Maine waters, perfect for adventurous spirits. Step inside to find a luxurious primary suite with an ensuite bathroom and jacuzzi tub, conveniently located on the first floor along with additional bedrooms for easy access. The well-stocked kitchen, outfitted with stainless steel appliances, is ready for larger groups and memorable meals, while the formal dining area provides an inviting space for gathering. Mornings are magical here; sip your coffee at the breakfast table as the sunrise lights up the harbor.

Just beyond the kitchen, a small laundry room leads to a cozy sunken living room with ample seating for everyone to unwind. There is also a formal dining area for shared meals and memories. Down the hall, you’ll find a guest bathroom, two comfortable bedrooms, and a shared full bath. Upstairs, a spacious semi-divided bunk room accommodates 4–6 guests and includes its own ensuite bathroom.

On rainy evenings, head downstairs to the unfinished basement where a game room with a billiards table offers fun and relaxation for the whole group.

Paradise

This place was the most serene and peaceful vacation house we have ever had. The location and view are exceptional. The furniture and decor is unparalleled. We wanted to move in. It is beautiful inside and out. Accommodated our large party so comfortably. The pics on the website do not do it justice. We plan to come back every year. Absolute paradise and perfection.
