Excursions to the Vienna Alps: Hohe Wand, Schneeberg, Semmering, Rax, Wechsel etc. In winter, the ski areas on Semmering are ideal for skiing or the panoramic cross-country ski trails in the Vienna Alps on Semmering, Wechsel, Schneeberg, Hohe Wand. Vienna can be reached in about an hour by car or train. The situation is similar with Lake Neusiedl or Hungary.
