A nice cabin in a wonderful location on/around a golf resort.Getting there was quite the adventure with the rolling & windy roads.Although, portions of the house were not cleaned well prior to arriving.Nearby lake offers kayak & boat rentals.The lodge has a restaurant and indoor pool. Overall, we were pleased with this rental.

Terra Alta 2025

This was the third year that we stayed at the cabin.We have consistently been happy.The only disappointment was, the first several days of the week were very warm, I would have liked to been able to turn on the fan on the first floor living space to lower the temperature in the upper bedrooms ( the remote to control the fan is missing)Besides this, which was Not really a big issue, everything else was close to perfect.Thanks for any enjoyable stay!

Our stay started off rocky. There was a storm that knocked out the power right before we arrived. Half our stay was in the dark, lol Other than the power outage, we enjoyed our stay so much. We can’t wait for a return visit next year.

The cabin had the feel of a rustic camp. It was quite bare bones. The rooms seemed to be clean. The furnishings need updating. The king mattress was excellent, but the twin beds were quite uncomfortable. Even a foam topper would have helped. The pillows were all flat and very old. The comforters were all long past their prime. The kitchen was basic, but fine. The showers were clean and the hot water was plentiful. The house is in the woods so there isn't much sunlight and screens on the doors would have been a welcome addition. Communications with the host were very good. She responded promptly to any inquiries. The Alpine Lake community is very nice. There are a bunch of walking trails that we enjoyed. Our sons loved the golf course. We were in the area for a family wedding. Overall, we would recommend this cabin. It's not fancy, but has the basics.

Excellent Accommodations!

The house was fabulous! Plenty of space for a family of 6 and could have slept more on the pull out couch in the basement. Covered front porch with swing was awesome especially when it rained. Full kitchen provided easy ability to feed our family on busy days. A quick walk to the beach! It was everything we were looking for and we will definitely be returning in the future!
