"Pros: La casa è di modeste dimensioni, ma ha gli spazi giusti per chi la affitta per una vacanza. Provvista di tutto il necessario per il soggiorno e anche di qualche comodità, come la lavatrice. Tutto molto pulito. L’host, la signora Francesca è molto disponibile e ospitale durante tutto il soggiorno. La struttura è a 10/15 min a piedi da una spiaggia libera e a 20/30 min dallo stabilimento. È anche vicino a più di un supermercato. Complessivamente ottima."

"The apartment itself is very nice, comfortable, and well maintained, and overall we enjoyed our stay. However, I was a little disappointed by a few small details that I believe would have made a big difference, especially considering the price of the stay.There was a coffee machine but no coffee pods, garbage bins but no garbage bags, and no paper towels in the kitchen. "The most important part of any hotel stay for me is the cleanliness of the room and overall property. The hotel scored really high marks on this criteria!! Moreover, the suite room was really spacious and the bed was really comfortable. We loved the room! The hotel is also in a really desirable part of town, close to everything and the rooftop restaurant/bar had spectacular views. This is a great property and I strongly recommend it!"

B&B Hotel Palermo Quattro Canti

"The B&B is brilliantly located at Quattro Canti, the central crossroads in the heart of Palermo. The close up view from the terrace of several church domes is superb. The property would benefit from even a small amount of upgrading. It is rather utilitarian and reminiscent of student hostel accommodation. In our room, one of the metal legs of the bed had ground a noticeable hole in the linoleum flooring. It degrades the overall impression. There is a lack of management in the terrace restaurant at breakfast. On different days, the umbrellas were not raised, there were no plates, cutlery had run out, the eggs and sausages were stone cold every day etc. Certain food items need replenishing etc. There didn’t seem to be anyone managing the overall guest offering. This is a shame, as the terrace is superb. We would stay again, because if the location and terrace, but would gladly see more efforts to upgrade the property."

"My family stayed at hotel Politeama for a night before heading to the ferry for Morettimo. From the cleanliness of the room, to the amazing breakfast, it was a perfect stay! Great location, friendly staff, and I would like to especially call out the INCREDIBLE Concierge, Dorotea! She went out of her way to ensure that we could change our rental car drop off location and help us get a shuttle to the Ferry. She was always willing to help and went above and beyond to ensure we were taken care of and even offered suggestions on where to take my wife for her birthday! We cannot say enough about her and we hope to be able to stay there again in the future!"

"This is an old world hotel that does not disappoint in its style and uniqueness. The location is right in the heart of historic Palermo with all the sights within 15 minutes walk in any direction. The breakfast is amazing. The rooftop restaurant is a charming and quiet with a wonderful city panorama with mountain surrounding all around and great for sunsets. The terrace bar is quiet and private with a charming waiter who will remember you. This is a spot for travelers who enjoy an old world experience with charm. If you want to be overlay pampered and think you deserve fantastic luxury - then stay away. You’ll just complain and I don’t want the staff to have to deal with you."

Saracen Sands Hotel & Congress Centre

"The hotel/rooms are very clean, spacious and fantastic sea views. The beds were comfy, bathroom was modern and there is a small fridge. The decoration is a bit dated but given how clean everything is, it adds to the charm of an authentic Italian hotel. There were only Italian TV channels if you want to watch TV on holiday which we didn’t. Breakfast was fine, nothing fancy or lots of choice, very Italian with the huge cake and sweets selection. Bread was fresh and very good. No cooked food except bacon and scrambled eggs. Salad, cheese/ham, yogurts. It can get noisy at night with the entertainment (not sure if all rooms are the same, ours was sea view and next to the nightly dancing place), but at least the music was oldies, Italian, tangos, etc. so no bass/boom boom type music. I found I could sleep if the window was closed. My only negative point would be the beach. It’s crowded, and gets dirty with cigarette butts, plastic, etc. People seem to leave rubbish behind everywhere. It was also VERY noisy, constant music from 9:30 to 18. I appreciate some people like this but I want to relax on the beach and listen to the sea, I don’t need constant loud lively music. The sea however was beautiful and warm, which saved the beach experience. Unfortunately, most of the beach are concessions so there is nowhere else to go. Most guests were Italian which added to the authentic Italian feel."
