The beds were grubby and needed changing no clean sheets the food served was not up to standard the manager said he had lost his staff before we arrived they all took Christmas holidays entertainment was a pool table we had to rely on trips to the main Santa Claus village on a 140 kilometre round trip……

The villa is modern with all expected facilities and more(impressive pantry contents provided), the sauna and Hot tub were used frequently with views outside that you would only imagine on a Christmas postcard. Kimmo(owner) was excellent throughout our stay and was always available to answer questions. Nearest supermarket is 10-15 minutes away and includes a store where you can buy alcoholic drinks. “What a great find; such a unique location just outside of town. This is an old forestry school and we appreciated the thoughful nods to its history. The front desk was SO helpful and friendly. Upon checking in, our room was on the 2nd floor. My friend sprained her ankle the day before and I asked if they had an elavator (they dont) but they offered to change our room and move us to the first floor to make it easier. This was such a kind gesture and much appreciated. The rooms were spacious,……
