「I had to make an impromptu trip and needed to crash for a night and wasn't expecting a whole lot, but the room was actually fantastic. It looked like it was recently renovated and the renovation was done well and in good taste. I had to leave before breakfast, but I was really pleased with how nice the room was.」

「To be clear, there are not many choices in Round Top. This is more like an upscale, contemporary motel than a hotel. It was a very comfortable room, on the main highway through town. 「The staff was kind and polite. The room we stayed in on of the bed sheets had black stains. When we first got into the room there was a strong smell of musty and wet paint. Once we turned the air on and opened the door for a little bit the smell was gone. They came and cleaned the room while we were gone but didn't change the stained sheets. Online it states that they have breakfast and there was nothing. They have a large refrigerator in the lobby but is say "staff only". Otherwise our weekend...

「This is our second time staying at this beautiful place but our first in this cottage. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It is decorated so cute with aniques and has 2 comfy queen beds, a kitchen area and a separate living area. It also has a nice size bathroom with a shower. The best part for me was the outdoor space. It is so quiet and I got to see fireflies (lightening bugs). That was such a treat. It took me back to my childhood. ❤️」
