"I paid extra money to enjoy the pool and its services. Unfortunately the pool side seating was esthetically pleasing BUT staff didn't open service till well after 3pm when we were informed it should open at 2pm. No outside drinks or food are permitted on pool side, maybe next don't pay and arrive to relax unless you dont want a cold beverage by the pool. "

"Emerson checked us in, and the King room that she gave us was that of MOTEL status. I booked wanting the River Walk experience, and was not accommodated as such! Nothing chaps my hide worse than attending a vacation being met with horrendous Hotel experience! We were eventually accommodated with another Room, which indicated that tge room was available in the beginning. The floor was dark brown in color, and the white towels being met with floor indicated how dirty the floor was. Although I love the antique feeling of the hotel, I will not book this location again! The service at breakfast was horrible as well, I ordered orange juice and the glass was chipped. I asked for a creamer and had to ask again. I’m disgusted by the treatment here. "

"Our stay was great at first. the hotel was clean, friendly staff, very attentive as well, and very accommodating. Unfortunately, we had to frequently ask for house keeping to come then after we’d ask the second or third time they’d finally come at almost night time. We tried to stay out of the room so they could and we’d also take our dog with us so she would t bother them. We had her kennel in the room in case we left her, but we never did. They had the audacity to come in our room and not clean the room, but leave the linen on the dining room table. According to them the reasoning for that was because our dog was in there (which was a lie). How was she in the room when she was with us all day. Mind you we were there on our honeymoon, and we went through this everyday. I personally wasn’t a fan of the breakfast. Everything looked appetizing, but it wasn’t for me at least. I didn’t get around to trying the restaurant, but I heard great things. The parking was fine, but limited. You definitely have to get there early."

"Staff was great especially front desk Diane. Room was clean and amenities great. We had water whenever we asked! Hotel was very central and walking distance to many places we wanted to go too."

"Staff very friendly. The room and facilities are clean and well maintained. They have plenty of oversized parking in the back which was great as I was towing a trailer. Check in/ out is easy. This is an iconic hotel and restaurant! Highly recommend!"
