“The location was peaceful yet stunning. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. The pool was wonderful and cleaned every day and had amazing views. The breakfast options were good and food plentiful. Hosts were always very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. There's nothing that we didn't like, but our advise for anyone getting there from the airport or railway station is to get a tuk tuk, rather than a shared minivan, as our shared minivan dropped us off at the wrong side……

“Just an amazing staff very honest left money in my laundry they returned it they take suck good care of their customers it's unbelievable. It's a place I never want to leave and the staff made it that way. Also the mountain view is unbelievable. I do not have one bad thing to say about this place and I highly recommend it. For English speakers they speak great English and are just great people. Please if you're in this town come to this place you will never regret it ”

“The good points are: 1) Nice view of the river. Both from the room and a even nicer view from a open-air viewing platform on top of the restaurant (where you eat breakf) where you can see the mountain landscape and river, with small boat carrying tourist going past. 2) Big and clean rooms. Comfy bed. Nice balcony with table and chairs for you to chill. 3) Staff were polite throughout all our interaction. Not so good points: 1) it's quite far from the main towm area where most restaurants……

“The hotel was great. The breakfast was solid. Not to mention the hotel was always a walkable distance from the bars and street food. They also had great prices when it came to the tours really catering to our needs. Overall solid quiet hotel ”

“This hotel, along with several others, offers a balcony with a great view of the river, mountains behind and passing hot air balloons but beware of the boat noise if spending any time in the room during the day. Our room was in great need of an update. Torn curtains and comforter, a safe too small for a 14” laptop, redundant wall brackets from long removed towel bars, and low powered mismatched lighting were poor choices for replacing whatever had been there originally. Room chair and……

“So the hostel is doing lots of renovations! So the property looks dirtier than the pictures show. There were no towels given but we brought our own. Staff were friendly but the language barrier was a problem. I think once they are done renovating and clean up the property will be beautiful!”

“A great choice in Vang Vieng. The shipping container rooms are novel, comfortable, clean and cool. (I think Mr Kong is a bit of a genius.) Good AC, comfortable beds, nice showers, OK breakfast (but you'll need to grab a decent coffee nearby at Kiwi, or a 10 minute walk to wonderful Naked). The location is great. Across the river from the noisier main drag but there's a walking bridge next to the hotel. It's quiet at night. There are 3 very good restaurants nearby- the pizza place, Kiwi……
