「The staff were friendly the room was clean. However, plumbing was shocking when a person in another room showered at the same time the cold water pressure dropped and risked scolding. In the room we were in there was poor ventilation with no aircon room was stiffling at night.」

「We had a fantastic time , Jenny is a prefect host. We arrived in the afternoon, used they pool and garden, then the next day she allowed us to use the pool again after check out time. Breakfast was delicious, the room was clean and cosy. It was a very hot day/night, she provided a fan and we managed to stay cool. Turns out she comes from my home town, so we had a lot to chat about. We just needed some peace and quiet to relax after a difficult week. Thank you Jenny for a wonderful stay.」

「This is a very old Inn with oak beams and uneven floors. The facilities were good however the room was unbearably hot. Even though we had 2 fans on we were just covered in sweat as soon as we came out of the shower. It was impossible to sleep.」

「This roadside pub with inn above was so convenient for my stopover to Highclere Castle, it’s a shame I didn't have more time there. The staff is friendly, the room is comfortable and quiet, the shower has great water pressure.」

「Everything was wonderful EXCEPT no air conditioning so the whole hotel felt like a sauna (we were there during a heat wave in May) and they didn’t do table service for dinner so we had to order our food and drinks from the bar, which isn’t the end of the world but knocks a star off the rating. Room was super cute, well decorated, the bathroom was really nice, loved the shower and it was very clean. 「The food was very good and staff great. Grace was a wonderful server. The inn is certainly olde and genuine. Not a pretend olde . Rooms are very unusual with individual names. All are separate from the pub. Obviously the pub is the main venue for the local population. The room was modest size but had two TVs. The shower floods the bathroom. Not a big deal.」
