Exceptional location.Quet, on the water.
Beautifully secluded.Simple life .
Missing trail for walking.
We recently stayed one night at the H&H in the middle of a long road trip and chose the H&H because of its location. They have a beautiful setting on Kapikog Lake. The lodging is pretty rustic and basic, but comfortable. The restaurant is excellent. We love German food, and the H&H offers some delicious German dishes in addition to more standard American bar food. We enjoyed sitting on the dock watching the sunset after our Rouladen dinner. The restaurant did not open for breakfast until 9:30am, so since we wanted to get back on the road we did not wait for breakfast. We would definitely stay at the H&H again.
Very nice owners. Made us feel welcome and comfortable.Fantastic scenery right at the water.

Petit coin paisible
It is a little out of the way but well worth the trip. The location is absolutely beautiful with early morning fog rolling off the water and the gorgeous sunsets. If you are looking for 5 star, this is not for you but if you enjoy nature and rustic beauty it is wonderful. The rooms aren't fancy but clean and comfortable with a view of the lake. We would definitely stay again if in the area. The on site restaurant was very accommodating and very friendly.
