“Very nice resort”

“I like this location as I’ve stayed here before. Bathrooms were pretty nasty with trash and hair everywhere. Not sure they mopped or cleaned the toilets before we checked in. There was also hair in the fridge? No dish soap or paper towels which was a little disappointing considering it has a full kitchen with dishwasher. Rooms could definitely use some new carpet as they were gross with stains everywhere. Living room chair was cut with big hole. Beds were fairly comfortable. Nice view of……

“The resort itself is beautiful. If you’re going to charge $1600 for a condo, I would think it would be a lot cleaner. We found dirty panties right next to the bed, the refrigerator had old food all over it, pots and pans were dirty, no extra towels, no pillows for the pull out couch; just wished the room was a little cleaner. Besides that the staff was extremely friendly and helpful with what they could offer. Bar good drinks , nice prices and the entertainment by the pool was fun.”

“Loved the pool area and lazy river on the seventh floor. Very relaxing. And the beds were comfortable. Would stay there again definitely.”

“The hotel room layout was excellent! Normally, it’s just one space but this was separated into a sleeping space, full kitchen and living room with doors that closed between rooms. We have been to Myrtle Beach a lot and this was the best hotel we’ve stayed in.”

“We (myself, wife, and 2 children) booked a room at this place for 1 night. About 10pm, the AC stopped working. After calling twice, the desk finally sent someone to look at the AC. The maintenance man showed up with no tools, and simply said he couldn't fix it. I called the front desk and was told there were no more rooms available but he could move me to a suite at another building. So, at 11:30pm, we had pack up our room, move our car, and go into another room. After checking into the room, I……

“It was the worst experience I’ve ever had; I paid for a week but only stayed one day before leaving and cancelling the rest of the trip because the power in the entire suite would cut out every time I turned on the microwave. Now I’m waiting for a refund. If you have any other option, run away from the Caravelle Resort Tower.”
