Richmond The Crossings Golf Club Hotels

"Walking in the lobby there was an odor of cigarettes. The staff was friendly and efficient upon check in. The room smelled heavily of paint or some chemical. I asked to switch rooms but the hotel was fully booked so the front desk staff sprayed some air freshener in the room. It didn’t help, actually made it worse. I had to go to Walmart and buy a fan and air sanitizer. The microwave was disgusting and there was some liquid stain dripping down the room door. So much for IHG cleanliness guarantee. There were also no spoons in the room so in the morning I went down to ask for some and there was no one at the front desk. I waited an hour and a half in the lobby for someone to come before I went to the hotel next door and asked for some plastic spoons. I expected a whole lot more for $185/night, and there was no offer to make it right or even a partial refund for the major inconveniences."

"I did not have a exhaust fan in the bath room, the desk phone was not working. Maid Service was very slow. Otherwise the Breakfast was nice. The front desk staff was very professional as well."

"I was only there to sleep and left early the next morning. The ladies at check in at 11:45 were very nice. The ladies making breakfast were also very nice. Clean room, tasty breakfast, safe facility. That’s all I needed!"

"Breakfast was good. Potatoes weren’t hot but there was plenty of other food to eat. Frankie, Portia and Terrance were all super helpful. They were always busy cleaning or doing something. Kudos on such great workers. It’s definitely a hotel we’d stay at again. "

"Great property, we very much enjoyed our stay and greatly appreciated the extra efforts of our host. Do be aware it is a third and fourth story unit, so prepare for stairs and pack light!"

"Pro- Clean and updated rooms and bathrooms. Great staff. Con- Indoor pool was unheated and chilly. Whirlpool not operational although hot. Operating button missing, emergency button appears broken off and lack of use has the water looking less than inviting. The daily water checklists on the wall for sanitation levels was not clear if ever updated or measured daily. I didnt risk getting in."
