Want to book a lovely vacation near North Sea beach and dunes?
Book the Sandcastle. A nice, spacious vacation home with lots of privacy in a villa park in Noordwijk on the coast.
It's a quiet, nicely situated green luxury park. Dunes and beach close by.

House: upstairs 3 bedrooms (1 bedroom with double bed and small flat screen TV, 2 bed rooms with each 2 x 1 person beds.
Nice living rooms with large dining table, 2 couches, big flatscreen tv, stereo, and nice new kitchen with dish washer, combi-oven, water cooker, Senseo and regular coffee maker, etc. Downstairs is also a bathroom with a bath tub, toilet and double sink.
The house is freestanding with a big yard with lots of privacy, 2 terraces for your barbecue fun. There is a big wooden picnic table and some plastic garden furniture.

Surroundings: the park is between Noordwijk and Noordwijkerhout in a green area in the middle of the flower fields. So April and May are lovely, everything is blossoming. The park (White Raven) is also on the edge of the dunes. You walk to the beach on a beautiful path (1 km). A great place for biking and walking.
Noordwijk is a lively coastal place with all year long activities, many restaurants and shops (also open on Sunday). Less than 10 min. Drive.
Noordwijkerhout is a cozy village with lots of shops and supermarkets. Few min drive.
Nice old cities are: Haarlem (20 min), Leiden (15 min), Amsterdam (40 min), The Hague (30 min).
Why this house? Because guests are always enthusiastic.
It's a lovely place for the whole family.

Schöner Urlaub für die ganze Familie

Der Aufenthalt war sehr schön und das Ferienhaus war sehr gepflegt. Wir haben nichts vermisst und der Garten war groß und ebenfalls gepflegt. Die Parkplätze am Haus waren ebenfalls ein großer Pluspunkt. Da man nahezu für alle Wege das Auto benötigt oder das Fahrrad.

Graduation Trip

Great location, close to the sea, with restaurants and plenty of trails to walk and bike. The house had everything we needed and was perfect for our family of four and plus our dutch friend who joined us. We really enjoyed ending the day with a glass of wine in the lovely backyard.

Cozy house in great location

The house is very nice and has everything you need. The interior and furniture is very comfortable and very well designed. It's only 30 minutes by foot to the beach and you can easily rent a bike close to the house. There is a lot of information available on what to do, as the host has a collection of flyers, maps and more in the house. The communication was always nice and small issues were easily solved. We had a great time and will recommend this spot to others!

Tolle Unterkunft, alles sehr sauber und gepflegt, moderne Technik … selbst der Mülleimer öffnet automatisch per Sensor. :-) Kann das Haus wirklich nur empfehlen, auch die Kommunikation mit der Eigentümerin klappte reibungslos, die benötigten Informationen waren noch vor der Anreise übermittelt….. danke Carla! Gemütliches Ferienhaus in einem ruhigen, gepflegten Quartier

Das Ferienhaus ist zweckmässig eingerichtet und bietet viel Platz für 4 bis 6 Personen. Der Garten mit den hohen Hecken gewährt viel Privatsphäre. Die Gegend von Noordwijk ist wunderbar, ruhig, überschaubar und mit dem Fahrrad kann die Region gut erkundet werden; ideal für erholsame Ferien. Die Föhre vor dem Hauseingang bzw. beim Autoabstellplatz ist nicht so optimal. Auf der Föhre halten sich immer Tauben auf, die mit ihren Exkrementen den Vorplatz oder das parkierte Auto verschmutzen!

Great stay close to lots of must see places in the Netherlands

Wir haben die Zeit in Noordwijk sehr genossen. Carla ist sicher auch selbst oft dort und hat alle für sie (und auch für uns!!) wichtigen Utensilien vor Ort : kochen, backen, grillen,alles dabei. Alles super praktisch eingerichtet und am Platz. Toller Garten, super Lage nah am Meer, mit super Stränden, Wassersport (Kiten, Surfen); tolle Städte wie Amsterdam, Haarlem, den Haag, Rotterdam,Leiden,.. auch der Flughafen Schipol super schnell zu erreichen , Gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten mit dem Rad erreichbar. Und wenn’s mal nötig ist wie bei uns dann sorgt Carla für schnelle Hilfe! Danke nochmals!! In jedem Fall eine Reise wert!! Und ideal Fahrrad nicht vergessen, könntet ihr auch vor Ort mieten, aber ohne geht Garnicht in Den Niederlanden!!

Schönes kleines aber in die Jahre gekommenes Häuschen

Die Lage des Häuschens ist gut und die Häusersiedlung drumherum gepflegt. Das Parken ist für ein Fahrzeug vor dem Haus problemlos möglich. Das Häuschen ist recht klein. Für 2 Personen mit geringerem Anspruch ist es ok. Leider ist es in die Jahre gekommen und nur oberflächlich saniert. Das Bad und die Küche wurden erneuert. Der Rest hat noch dringend Bedarf. In den kalten Tagen ist es sehr kalt, da die Heizung nur reduziert auf 15°C Abends/Nachts und 21°C Tags eingestellt wird. Es empfiehlt sich, separate Heizstrahler mitzunehmen. Unsauberkeit sollte sofort bei Anreise gemeldet werden. Ansonsten ist die Niederlande immer eine Reise wert!!!

Im Großen und Ganzen leider nur okay

Die Beschreibung der Wohnung war in Teilen nicht ganz zutreffend. Der Fußweg zum Strand ist definitiv länger als 1km. Fahrräder daher für regelm. Strandbesuche zu empfehlen. Es gibt zum Beispiel auch keinen 2ten Fernseher im OG. Im großen Schlafzimmer 2 Kommoden und ein ca. 50cm breiter Schrank. Wir waren nur zu dritt. Aber mit 6 Personen wird das dann schon eng. Für die Kunststoffgartenstühle gibt es leider keine Sitzauflagen. Die Sitzgruppe sieht auch nicht mehr so aus, wie auf den Fotos. Über Bänke und Tisch wurden einfach Holzlatten geschraubt. Zwar eine ganz gute Idee, allerdings durch die Witterung so verzogen, dass kein Teller oder Tasse gerade auf dem Tisch stehen kann. Weiterhin war die Sauberkeit in der Küche nicht so, wie wir dies für den Preis erwartet hätten. Das Backblech war nicht zu gebrauchen und auch der Wasserkocher aufgrund von Kalk nicht nutzbar. Auch die Kanten der Türen sind vergilbt und beim Erstbetreten des Raumes konnten wir leider noch erschnüffeln, was unsere Vorgänger zuletzt gekocht hatten. Die Dunstabzugshaube braucht dringend eine Grundreinigung... Der Rasen wurde in den 14 Tagen in denen wir da waren bzw. bevor wir ankamen nicht gemäht. Erst am Tag unserer Abreise. Demnach wird max. alle 4 Wochen gemäht. Ein durch den Sturm herabgestürtzer großer Ast blieb 1,5 Wochen im Garten liegen, obwohl wir darauf hingewiesen hatten. Zudem steht eine Tanne direkt an der Einfahrt. Zapfen fallen somit aufs Auto.
