「Always a pleasant stay at the Arden and we got our room request. Very pleasant staff and a good stay, even in a heat wave! Breakfast is perfect and plenty of options b」

「From our after midnight arrival to the manager who went out of his way to change us from one type of handicap access room to one that was better suited to my needs. This property was run like a well oiled machine. The staff overall was polite and helpful, which obviously was made possible by the manager who seemed to treat them all the same way he treated guests (kind and helpful) even when he wasn’t in the building the staff was exceptional. A rare find these days」

「We stayed two nights. The hosts were amazing. Great choice for breakfast. Very convenient for the town. The bedroom was quiet with a lovely view to the garden. Didn’t realise there was a fridge until the last day!! We will return hopefully when the weather is better」

We booked through Expedia and it said no attendant on site - so there was confusion on where to leave our bags and we did not receive a response so we ended up paying Premier Inn to hold our bags. 「The hotel was ok, no more or no less than that. The pictures on the website were all of the newer bit of the hotel by the looks of it. Our room even said “old” on the invoice I signed. Bed ok, room had good furniture but too much of it so barely room to move. Window to a fire exit that kept banging in the wind. Shower screen might as well have been wire mesh as water leaked everywhere and flooded the bathroom which looked to have been happening for a while looking at the water staining / state...
