"Looks ok from the outside, lobby is really nice and the staff were friendly and attentive, unfortunately the rest of the hotel just doesn’t meet the same standard.
The place is old and tired and is in desperate need of a renovation, dirty stained carpets, paper thin walls, creaking floors, peeling paint in the room you name it. Did I mention it’s like a favela in Brazil, it’s like a maze challenge to find your room.
Mercure hotels used to be premium, clearly not anymore.
