A good property close to main road through Thekkady but removed enough to be lovely and quiet. Beautiful grounds, pool was clean there was some play equipment. The restaurant served a good buffet for dinner and breakfast, with both Indian and western dishes. We chose to eat the Indian food it was served hot and was very tasty.

Overall, the property was very nice and good value. Just a couple of maintenance related issues such as the balcony door was misaligned and was not easy to lock. The bathroom door was squeaky and the bright air conditioning light would not turn off with the remote. I also strongly recommend the management to consider putting some contrast strips on stairs. Just make it easier for people with low vision to navigate. Overall, the property is very nice comfortable, staff is very nice and friendly. Location is great. Food at this property is very good. Everything we tried on the menu was awesome. We tried mostly local Kerala cuisine at this restaurant.

A good clean resort at the center of the town but still close to nature. View points are quite nearby. Food is not luxury levels. Though simple, its healthy food. They have a good clean swimming pool. I wouldn't recommend the spa though.

It was a cool , comfortable,safe and pleasant stay.Staff very cordial.check in was a breeze.pool was clean,though baby pool was small.Food was decent.Breakfast,evening tea with snacks at pool side was fantabulous. overall great experience at affordable prices.

WALKED MILES UPSTAIRS TO GET TO OUR ROOM

Friendly staff on arrival, their english isn't so great but you get by. There was a looong walk to our room, up multiple stairs and far away from the restaurant and pool, which was unfortunate. The room was spacious with a good sized balcony.

The welcome is not so bad but room service has to improve a lot. Asked for bedroll at 7pm but it was put on 9-30pm. Food is ok but service to improve. Overall I rate it as a **

Awesome Hotel

It was really a nice hotel very close to the city center, periyar wildlife sanctuary and lake..... and the staff was very helpful for the information which i needed they really helped me with that..... lot of places to visit there. So plan accordingly..... 2 nights is just not enough..... Places to visit, Parunthum para, ramakalmedu, idukki dam etc etc....

The hotel is clean and tidy, must improve the reception lobby and entrance, too depressing, small table in one corner of a big room! Does not give very happy feeling when you check in. But the rooms are very good and well appointed, clean and spacious, staff is very helpful. In general good experience...!

the hotel is good, with neat facilities and polite staff. the only concern was that the location was not worth it as there was not much view though the hotel was just meters from the kumily town..

Lugnt trots närhet till huvudgata

Vi bodde på detta hotell två nätter, läget är bra, nära till huvudgatan men ändå lugnt, dock var utsikten från vårt standardrum inte speciellt fin. Rummet var ok, dock kändes renligheten inte helt ok. Åt aldrig på restaurangen så den kan vi inte bedöma. Vi hade inga problem med varmvatten i duschen och inte heller med mosquitos. Vi upplevde servicen i receptionen som lite oprofessionell och nonchalant, dock inte otrevlig på något sätt. Ett medelhotell.

Run-down, dirty curtain, holes in sheet, no hot h2

The only positive about this hotel was the pool and breakfast. Everything else was not worth the money e.g. dirty rooms with hair on floor, dirty curtain, filthy lounge, no hot water (and no water pressure) and dismissive staff. It is definitely not worth the going rate and I wouldn't recommend staying here even if you got a discounted rate.

Great place and service

Nice hotel in a great location. The staff are really helpful and organised taxi transfer from Ernakulam train station. The morning nature walk is not really a nature walk, just down to the waterfall and back but its well worth it. The Wifi was not very good in the room but work fine near the reception.

QUIET RETREAT

It is a quiet retreat. It provides a pleasant taste of Kerala, I enjoyed the soft floral 'aappam' with honey. like I do with pan cakes. I told the Reception to promote 'aappam' as an exquisite breakfast item.

Centrally located with comfortable rooms

The rooms are well maintained and are spacious too. The staff are also very responsive. Food is reasonably good and the resort is centrally located . The resort has good ambiance too.
