“The house’s view is very nice,but it is not comfortable and convenient to stay. The host is very nice and try her efforts to maintain the house in good condition. ”

“Room photos on expedia showed a room that had been nicely renovated but our room was one that clearly hadn't been done yet. Place didn't seem full so I'm guessing not very many rooms look like the pictures. There is a pretty big difference between the room we got and the pictures they show so it's hard not to feel a bit deceived. Sound proofing is lacking so we could hear car doors slamming for most of the night. Staff was friendly and helpful and the room was clean. Location is close to local……

“The motel needs updating. The rooms could be cleaned alot more. Bathrooms especially. Baseboards were dirty, clogged sink, which they were going to look into but we were gone by the time they probably looked. Could use some newer nightstands. Very old. Just needs some paint and lots of cleaning and maybe fixing bathroom flooring. The shower and bathtub were nice though. Very nice front desk ladies. All I can say is that it was place to lay my head and that's it. I hate giving poor reviews but i……

“Oh boy...I greatly dislike writing negative reviews. While Chemainus is adorable, the location is fantastic and the exterior is a dream...this aint it. Mouldy drapes, a number of amenities were broken (electric fireplace, mouldy fridge), no wifi, questionably clean bedsheets. And (I have photos as proof) a white substance residue left on the counter next to the bed. I will say that the indoor jet tub was amazing! I swear I heard a cough below us at one point and noticed a little door that looked……

“This property has serious problems with mold, which it covers up with febreeze and incense. Particularly bad for people with lung issues. There is a heating problem which was finally resolved after several calls with a cube heater. Needless to say, you could not open a window to freshen the air. My clothes stank of febreeze after my visit. Far too pricey for value received. Avoid this one”
