Chasing monsoons in Aldona! . . You know Aldona is said to be the prettiest village in Goa, I don't how it got this title but I exactly know why. Riding through the never ending narrow lanes of this sleepy village was our best attempt at making a connection with the less explored part of the town.
Kayaking through the backwater creek amongst the mangroves, with the company of just singing and flying peacocks & kingfishers in the laid back village of Goa named Aldona was the most serine experience. The hosts of Cancio's house can take you through this experience.
Each time we drove pass this house, I made sure to admire and capture it as much as I can. You don't get to see such pretty little things very often. The drive from Aldona to Charó island is filled with color coordinated houses, lucky are the ones who can call it home.
