"It seemed the property was not ready for guests. The rooms and shelves were not very clean. The sink leaked and the bath drainage took a long time to drain. The stoves for cooking did not have knobs for turning it on. You could hardly see with the light in the bathroom when we arrived. The sofa was torn and squeaked. Linen & towels did not look fresh & clean (very old)."

"The lodge is well located in the Hillcrest area, close to the Main Road with it's shops and restaurants. Bev the hostess was very welcoming and seemed prepared to go out of her way to assist her guests. The breakfast in the morning was varied and good. The room, while on the small side, was adequately furnished with a comfortable bed. There were a number of small items which detracted from my stay. "KZN Park View Guest House is an affordable option in the Durban area. The room was clean, the shower was hot and had great pressure and there were a few lovely cafes walking distance."

"This place was amazing. Clean, beautiful views, quiet area, large rooms. Staff were helpful and friendly and stay out of your way so you can do whatever you want to. The only issue is that the parking can be a bit difficult to manage with a large vehicle."
