Great mountainside home

Stunning home and location with a wonderful view. Plenty of room for 16 guests to spread out and enjoy a family vacation. The large deck was comfortable and proved the place to be day & nite. Game room was a huge hit with the older kids (and the adults that accepted the challenge). Kitchen was well equipped. The home is a shoe-free home. Didn't see that in the listing so pack your fav socks or slippers. (cute packaged socks were provided and a very nice touch I must say)So what was lacking? Basic HBA supplies. A home that accommodates 16 should have more rolls of TP, paper towels, bath towels and have some laundry detergent. One set of towels per guess for 3 nights is rather low. Providing laundry detergent would be helpful. Lack of extra towels and bed sheets may require doing a wash.The propane and grill situation could have been better. The grill was quite a mess. A total of 4 propane tanks had roughly 3/4 of a full tank between them. 2 completely empty ! You don't go on vacation and want to run out to refill empty propane tanks or clean a nasty dirty grill from previous occupants. Those little hiccups aside we highly recommend this home. Gorgeous, spacious and in a fantastic area with so much to do. It's on our list for next years family vacation.

Great Space with Some Inconveniences

We recently stayed at this rental and had a mixed experience. Here are some highlights and lowlights: Pros: -The kitchen was well-appointed with plenty of pots, pans, and dishes, making it easy to cook for our group. -The views from the main living area and deck are spectacular! -The large dining table was perfect for meals together and accommodating a crowd. -We appreciated the comfortable beds throughout the house—everyone had a great night's sleep! Cons: Unfortunately, we encountered some inconveniences. -There were no dishwashing supplies or counter spray which made cleanup a bit of a hassle. We ran to the store to stock up on soap, trash bags, toilet paper, paper twls, etc. - The recycling instructions were confusing - Figuring out the heat was quite tricky, especially in the lower level where we couldn't get it to work at all. - The fireplace came with very specific instructions but not enough firewood, which was disappointing on a chilly night. - We found it frustrating that we had to drive offsite just to pick up and drop off the house keys. It would be extremely helpful to have a house binder with instructions on how to use the TVs, heat, and other appliances. This could save future guests a lot of time and confusion. Overall, while there were some great features to the rental, the lack of basic supplies and unclear instructions detracted from our experience. If these issues were addressed, it could be a fantastic place to stay!
