Check in was not friendly. Had to ask where are the elevators? Where is dining room? What is wifi password? Morning check out was better. Rooms very dark.pillows are ridiculously lumpy.

the bathroom counter was coming off the wall, the bathroom door wouldn't close at first till I fixed it, the ironing board was covered in all kinds of spills and stains, there was a bunch of splattered stuff on the wall up by the ceiling, and the wallpaper was peeling off at just about every seam. The shower had excellent pressure, and the iron worked really well.

I understand that this is an okder property but there's no excuse that the carpets are wet, and smelled bad. Rooms are hot.

1st we got a full charge on our credit card the full amount of 441.00 not the 100.00 deposit so told. The room was hot and the pulgs did not work so we could not charger our phone's and the rooms are very drak all in all i would not stay here again this was our 3rd year to Thunder Bay.

So many homeless at the property, hallways are dirty, carpet too old bedding are all turned into yellow. The are lots of restaurants nearby this is the only thing we like.

Stay was very good with the exception of some guests running up snd down the hall and stairs banging doors from 215am till330.

The hotel is ok. The staff are great - really helpful and friendly. However, there were sketchy people hanging around the outside of the hotel. The first ground floor room I was put in had a broken window that wouldn’t close, and the screen window frame was broken - it would have been very easy for anyone to enter the room from the parking lot.

Dirty towel in the washroom, pillowcases hadn’t been changed (I noticed the smell and thought it might have been the pillow inside, but when I checked in the morning I saw marks of black mascara, and I wasn’t wearing any). We only had 3 big towels in the bathroom, in spite of being 4 people, in a room with capacity for 5.

Stayed in a jacuzzi suite. Had a view, albeit over a parking lot and office building, off the sun seating over the Rockies each night. Breakfast was solid if unspectacular. The hotel was full when we stayed so the pool and hot tub area was filled with kids the three days we stayed. Very convenient if you gamble as Deerfoot Casino is literally across the street.

Nice updated rooms however didn’t care for the connecting door as could hear other guests in the next room. At one point the guest in the connecting room tried to open the door and was shaking it and turning the knob, kinda scary! Liked the hot tub however could only use for 15 minutes as it closed at 9, a bit early in my opinion.

It was good to see that they are providing parking "passes" to put on your dash. The elevator was out the next morning but was already running by the time we checked out which was nice as my husband is using a walker.

Staff were very good. Place looked nicer in photos than in person, but still clean and secure. Water slide was not operational, which was a big draw for the family, but pool was still good to go. Security was prompt to deal with an unfortunate neighbour situation

I really want to give the property a positive review, but I just can't. Our room was on the opposite end of the single access doors; pool view but no easy access to pool (had to walk all the way to front entrance area), it was unclean and weirdly dark in our room and hallways, and I found a dirty bandaid in the ice bucket. When I asked for a replacement, they didn't have any other ice buckets and insisted, repeatedly, that I stand there and wait for them to clean it. The kids loved the pool and waterslide, and the location was convenient.

Room felt dirty - i wont take my shoes off. Room wasn't tended to by house keeping for the entirety of my stay. There was people yelling outside my room windows in the evening hours. Felt unsafe.
