The location, in a quiet Seal Harbor neighborhood, with great mountain views from the front porch, was the ideal home base for our hiking/biking vacation. It's a quick, easy and safe bike ride to the carriage road gatehouse near Jordan Pond House. It's a short, pleasant drive to the Park Loop Road, Bar Harbor, and the quiet side of Acadia. The house was in immaculate condition when we arrived. It is thoughtfully and tastefully decorated, and outfitted with guests in mind. The beds and furniture are very comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked (we cook). The yard and garden are lovely. Communication with Bruce was a pleasure. "Loved this spot! It put us really close to the Acadia entrance for sunrise. They have coffee, water, juice and snacks all day. We actually stopped by the office for coffee before the Sunrise on Cadillac Mountain.
They were all friendly and helpful. Rooms weren’t fancy but were really clean and the beds were comfortable. Would definitely stay here again if we were in the area. "
