Beautiful setting. New dock and new grill. Both nice improvements. Additional new TV in guest bedroom. All put to good use. Responsive host. Very pleasant overall.

Not What We Expected

We left a day early due to numerous issues. I want to start by saying the host did waive the dog fee. Our doodle does not shed and is very clean. The biggest issues during our stay were: the furnace making loud noises 4-5 times an hour all day and night, When I asked the host about the noise she told me it was a part that needed replacing in the furnace, and they did not have a chance to fix it between tenants. That noise was unacceptable.The safety of the stairs (both stone steps down to the water and steps off of the deck were loose and felt unsafe), and a lot of the chairs being broken or feeling unstable (chaise lounges by water, indoor chairs in living room, blue chairs on the deck). I was also cut by a finishing nail sticking out of the woodwork (I found several more not hammered into wood after that.) in the cubby to the closet with the bunk beds.The barbecue is also rotted out and the bottom dropped to the ground when we tried to use it (and we only used it once).The sinks were clogged and did not drain efficiently. We were disappointed that there was not easy water access for swimming or water activities.The view is beautiful but it was difficult to sleep due to noise and to enjoy our time there with these issues and hard to stay here as a family with our granddaughter and pregnant daughter. These were the largest issues with our stay.

Have rented for many years on all parts of the Lake this house has everything you need, even things you didn’t think of. Bedrooms are larger than pictures show , house is close to the public boat launching making arriving and leaving super easy! Love the game room, weather was great so didn’t even use it. Ample parking which is always a plus. Will be heading back next summer! Also did a day trip to Lake Placid which was an easy ride.

Wonderful family vacation spot

If you are looking for a quiet spot on Lake George, this is a great house. We had a great family reunion where we barbecued every evening. We also rented a pontoon boat, which enabled us to really enjoy the lake. We hope to be back!

Lovely Lakefront

We enjoyed our peaceful stay just steps from the lake! My teenagers spent hours in the lake and paddling around with the kayaks and paddle board, and everyone enjoyed the game room and evening by the fire pit. We heard loons, saw a baby deer and a variety of ducks and other water birds from the deck. Our host responded right away when I reached out with questions.

The host thought through all of the details! - hair dryers in the bathrooms, bath products, kitchen appliances, games, coffee selection, Wi-Fi , kayaks, life jackets - guaranteed a fun vacation. Plus, she is immediately responsive to all questions. Home and waterfront layout are perfect. Look no further. You want to stay here!

Fabulous relaxing week

My family of 6 really enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. It had everything we needed to feel "at home" and the view and access to the lake was perfect. We really enjoyed having the water "toys" as well. Such a relaxing week!

Perfect Location

Stayed here recently and my son and his 2 friends loved the property. I loved the fact that the outside deck was close to the dock and water unlike some other properties I've stayed at in the past where you have a small hike to get to the water and you cant keep an eye on the kids unless you're down there also. The home was very spacious and had everything we needed. I would definitely stay here again. Taran was also great with answering any questions I had.

A beautiful vacation

We had a great time at this property. We loved the location, had a great time in the game room and were overall thrilled w our vacation. We had everything we needed to cook at home and we slept great on the comfy mattresses. We could not get the fireplace to work, but that had no impact on our stay. Thank you!

Lake George-2023

This property is perfect for families. The amenities were great! The game room was a blessing during inclement weather, kept the kids entertained! I was extremely impressed with the response time from our host Taran if we had any questions. All the property details listed were spot on. Also there is a Walmart literally a few minutes away. We would also recommend The Wind-Chill for Ice Cream and take out

Perfect family house

We just came back from the best week in Northern Lake George. The house is located on a quiet street and had everything (and more) we needed to enjoy our time right on the water. As a family of 5 there was plenty of room for all of us in the house, our young boys particularly loved the game room on the one rainy day we had and I enjoyed cooking breakfast & dinner looking out at the lake each morning & night. We spent a lot of our time sitting on the back deck & around the fire pit, fishing & swimming off the dock and we rented a boat from a nearby marina for the week that we were able to dock right at the house. Taran was super communicative and the entire process was efficient and convenient. The house is clean, well stocked, and comfortable. We will absolutely be back!

Love the Lake

Loved the home, it was very clean and was actually roomier and more open feeling than the pictures and description indicated! With six adults and 2 rambunctious kids, as well as a month old infant, it was terrific!!

Beautiful Setting

Our family of 4 stayed in late July and we loved it! The house had more than enough room for all of us, it was very clean and fully stocked with everything we needed from kitchen staples to towels. The house and deck have the most beautiful view of the lake! We enjoyed morning coffee on the deck every morning and fires in the fire pit every evening. We used the kayaks, SUP and water mat which was so much fun for us and our kids. We also caught a few fish from the dock. The location is great, there is a Walmart, liquor store, Dunkin' a few minutes away. We also did day trips to the rock caves, Bolton Landing and Burlington, VT. Great vacation!

A wonderful stay.

Taran was a wonderful host ... very easy to communicate with and super responsive. The home was exactly as advertised, and, in ways, better. The kitchen was fully stocked and every little detail covered. The home was cozy, yet, incredibly comfortable for our family of five. The views of the lake are beautiful. I highly recommend, if your travels bring you to Lake George.

Great stay

Location is great. You are on the north end of the lake quite and beautiful. Plenty of activities on the lake that the home provides. Free beach just less than 2 miles away. Home was big enough for 6 adults and 2 kids. Only think I would recommend is them upgrading to a better vacuum to help us clean kids crumbs better alot of carpet. Owners responded quickly to any questions and it was a great smooth vacation. Will be back for sure!

Wonderful stay

Beautiful home right on the lake. We enjoyed the grill, the fire pit, the tvs in every room, the game room, the kayaks and the lakeside views. The house had everything you need to have an enjoyable stay. I loved how organized the homeowner is (I.e. clear instructions everywhere). The house is comfortable for adults and kids. Great getaway.

Perfect

The house is beautifully maintained. It is well appointed; everything from a zester and mandolin to enough dishes and glasses for everyone. The dock and swimming area are very nice. The dock , float pad and kayaks and paddleboard are lots of fun. The host is friendly and responds quickly to any questions. Cell phone reception is spotty, but the internet is very good and there’s a landline for calls. We will be back!
