A great place to explore the area

My kids and I stayed for three nights while we explored the area. We all thoroughly enjoyed it and this was a nice place to come back to at the end of the day.

Wonderful

We had a mini winter vacation here, and everything was wonderful! It is a beautiful and comfortable place, and provided everything we needed. The view of the river is stunning!

Lehemeier Lodge

We had an excellent stay. This was a birthday present trip for our 80 year old mother. The view is amazing, we spent hours just enjoying the river and all the animals around and in it! A spectacular place to stay, I really want to visit again.

River Retreat

We had agreat time!! The cabin was nice and in a great location!! We went riding in Allegheny National forest during the day and fished on the bank of the river in front of the cabin at night!! It quiet and perfect for our family!!

We plan to return!

We had a wonderful get away! Our goal was to be more present as a family and do some nature things. This cabin was in the perfect place to do this! Nearby hikes, great waterfront to fish and search for cool rocks (something our son loves to do). We definitely plan to be back!

Two day getaway

Great location. Right on the water. Just wanted to get away for a couple of days & enjoy the national forest. This was close & made for nice evening beside the fire. Watched a couple of bald eagles in the morning on the island across from the cabin. Place was as described. Would stay again

Great riverfront cabin

We love the northern part of the Allegheny River. This cabin is the perfect place to stay and enjoy the Allegheny away from the city. Fishing and swimming was a blast. Cabin was perfectly clean with amenities available. Fire pit right against the river was relaxing at night. Oh and the kayaking was really nice. We saw a bald eagle while several times while there.

Cozy cabin!

Property was simply beautiful. Right on the river with the coziness of a fire, and the peaceful sound of the river all within 30 feet! Relaxation at its finest. Stayed here for a few days with friends and had a great time! Vince, the property owner, was very responsive to all of my questions both before and during our stay. Highly recommend for those looking to rest, relax and enjoy mother nature!

Nice Riverside cabin

Quiet and clean river-side cabin with a scenic view of the Allegheny river and its islands. The owner keeps the property nicely landscaped and inviting. The firepit had some wood supplied so we had a riverside fire adter dinner. We didnt expect that. Thanks! Ray L

Quiet family time

This lodge was everything we needed. Cute cabin right on the river with a babbling stream. The cabin was extremely clean and comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped for any meal you could plan. The sunroom overlooks the river, close enough to hear the river and watch the birds. But for me, the best part was sitting on the deck relaxing watching the ducks and herons fishing. Truly a fabulous spot to unwind and not stress about life.

Comfy and homey

This is the second time we've stayed at this property. Incredibly clean and well stocked with towels, linens, cooking utensils, etc. The living room is so cozy, with a wonderful view of the river. We spent most of our time there out on the spacious deck and by the firepit. Enjoyed watching the occasional kayakers and fishing boats. Really enjoyed watching the herons, ducks, and bald eagles! A perfect place for a getaway. Owner sent messages very quickly, with all necessary information included. Highly recommend this lodge!

Nice little slice of heaven

Stay was amazing, spot was great. We decided the first night that we wanted to extend our stay and reached out to the owner. Without hesitation they helped us because I was unable to figure how to do it through the VRBO app. House was very clean and well cared for. We had a campfire every night while we stayed there. Literally nothing more peaceful than having a campfire listening to music and the sweet sound of the river. We can't wait to book this cabin again next summer! Our 8 year old had a blast walking through the river finding crawfish and building a rock spa.

Ideal setting for relaxation and decompression! We loved sitting by the river just spending time together and enjoying the fire pit. We had everything we needed for a simple restful getaway!
