"We had an amazing time at mill river. We golfed the amazing course and enjoyed some meals in the restaurant. We had a great time!"

"This house is amazing. The views from the back patio and deck are phenomenal. The photos look great, but in person is a million times better! We saw terns, schools of mackerel, fishing boats and all sorts of weather, from gorgeous sunsets to a crazy storm that turned the ocean red from the cliffs. If you venture down to the beach area, you will find all sorts of really cool rocks and sea glass to collect! We had good luck with sea glass right at the house and a little north at Mimenegash beach on harbor road. My family and I went for just about two weeks and loved every minute. The house is on the quieter side of the island and that was perfect for us. We were able to go out and do fun things but also just relax and enjoy the space. Dave and Nancy were easy to work with, very quick to respond, and left a kind note and jar of homemade jam at check in. One thing to know is that other reviews share that the kitchen is well stocked, and it IS very well stocked with kitchen things like dishes, appliances, utensils, etc. Other houses I have rented in the past had things like a small collection of spices, oil, etc., and I made the assumption that those would be there. That is completely my fault/assumption, but know that you may want to bring a basic cooking kit if you plan on making meals. I 100% recommend this house and I very much hope to go back in the future. "This house is located in a beautiful location on PEI. The direct access to what seemed almost like a private beach was the highlight of the house for us. Due to it's location at the far end of the island it did mean a lot of driving to see the other parts of the island. The kids loved the games in the basement - especially the table tennis. The firepit by the ocean was great and the hot tub was very clean. The host was very easy to communicate with and responded quickly. A couple of suggestions for the house would be: A cooler and some ice packs in the freezer would have been a great addition for us to pack a lunch to take with us for the day.We couldn't locate any wood for the firepit so we bought some from one of the many firewood stands located on the highway. Having some already there would have been nice.Overall - we had a very enjoyable stay and would recommend!"

"Chalet propre et propriétaire répondais bien à nos questions. Par contre le chalet n’est pas dire sur la plage, il y a une route entre les deux. L’accès à la plage très difficile avec des enfants alors nous devions y aller par la route. Aussi il y avait énormément de fourmis dans le chalet qui montaient partout incluant sur la table, lits et comptoirs. Il n’y avait aussi las beaucoup d’ustensiles alors devions en laver avant que le lave vaisselle ne soit plein"

"Had a very nice week-long stay. The house was clean and comfortable. The beach is right across the street and we went for many walks. Very quiet street and isolated. Close enough to Alberton and Tignish though to go to grocery stores, restaurants, etc. It was very easy to get in touch with the owner, who was very nice. We would definitely stay here again."
