Excellent location!!! Nice Tijuana neighborhood. Just steps from shopping, restaurants, Walmat, movie theatres, starbucks, supermarkets, golf course, and the famous Caliente race track, casino and XOLOS soccer stadium.

Not good for what I needed
The property itself is in a great location if you want to go to a soccer game or shopping as it is right across the street. That being said, it is extremely noisy with the busy street below and the bars and restaurants across the street. There is a lot of construction in the area as well and that contributed to the noise. Unfortunately on top of it all, there was a neighbor with a dog that whines and barks most of the night as well. If you're looking for a good nights rest, this is definitely not it. The bed was comfortable and there are blackout shades but they do not completely cover the windows so there is light that comes in from the downtown area. The hallways had an odor - it's an apartment building so could be anything. The apartment itself had a smell which was tolerable once you were there for a while. There was nothing there to wash dishes with and no dishwasher. There were no paper towels, salt, pepper or cooking oil. I was there for cancer treatments and had to leave the property early to move to somewhere quieter and with more support. I understood the cancellation policy but asked the host if they would give me a partial refund if they could re-rent the last 2 weeks I was not able to stay. They said yes if I gave a 5 star review. It took over a week for them to get the property re-listed on VRBO and when they did, they upped the rental price above what it was listed for any other time which made it very hard for anyone else to want to rent.
