This hotel is in a great location in that it has everything nearby; all kinds of restaurants and museums to explore. If you drive into the city, be prepared to park near the entrance of the hotel, and hand your car key to the valet guys to go park your car. The parking area, which is outside of the hotel, is very dusty. I didn’t like that my car came out like it had been dug out from under the ground after only about 48hrs. The room was spacious with a nice king size bed. The bed was very comfortable. The Room, toilet was clean but the shower and the sink seemed like it hadn’t been cleaned for several days. Also, water drops on the floor as you are running the tap on the sink because the sink isn’t deep enough or for whatever reason. If you are one of those people who likes it quiet at night, and especially during the weekend, this place may not be for you as they play loud music around the hotel all night long. I didn’t mind, but it bothered my girlfriend. Overall, it was okay.

I was there for two days. The place was clean. It had AC. It did not have a refrigerator and it only have two towel towels and that was there for two days. I called the front desk and let them know that I only have two towels and they told me they were bringing the towels so I spent hours waiting for them to come in until I finally passed out, went to sleep and then never brought me the towels. I was kind of disappointed, but the place was clean just disappointed that dinner had Refrigerator to to call some water. Put some water in the fridge or a soda I do not have a microwave and disappointment of those things cause almost all the rooms have that that disappointed me and most importantly I wanted to shower I needed a washcloth. I needed a hand towel. None of that was available very disappointed on that part.

The hotel and restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful and gave excellent service. The menu is pretty limited, but the food tasted good and reasonably priced. The hotel is surrounded by small shops, but has tons of places to eat and shop. I only went to the right after exiting the hotel. There is more shopping to the left. The sidewalks are uneven right around the hotel. From the outside it looks kinda funky, but the inside is very nice and clean. Make sure you have a blanket. It got cold in mid-March.The hotel has night clubs on both sides, so be prepared for music.The fan in the bathroom drums out that. Ihe location is perfect for shopping. For the price, and location, I enjoyed my 3 day stay, as a single women visiting Tijuana for dental work. The location is just a taxi ride from Zona Rio, which is where all the medical offices are. If I come again, I will love to stay at HotelPlaza one. Note, the tv is only in Spanish but is Roku. There is probably away to mirror your phone onto the TV. I would advise to bring a tablet, if you don't speak Spanish.
