“Clean room, comfy beds”

“The breakfast and coffee are great, room was clean. The renovations seem a bit underwhelming as you can see light and see downstairs through vents in floor.”

“The staff seems to speak fluent English and yet is very difficult to communicate with. Several things broke in my hands while touring the room, yet the staff kept saying “it’s okay” as though I might be worried about having broken things. I was not worried, and It was not okay. Blinds that fall to pieces when you brush past them are not okay. Doors with no screens are not okay. Toilets that don’t fill or flush without jiggling the handle and leak onto the floor are not okay. The lukewarm water……

“This motel is basic but clean. Exactly what you need if you just need a clean place to sleep. I was impressed by their choice of cereal for the continental breakfast. Would stay here again if I'm just passing through.”

“Very poor condition. There was a rope tied on the front door to pull it open! No safety grips in the bathtub made it very dangerous toilet extremely extremely low poorly painted room no washcloths. No coffee and cake as advertised horrible experience. Rope attached the door to open door, no safety strips in bathtub, stains on carpet full ashtray, right outside the window, paint peeling everywhere, etc. etc.”

“The concierge Karen was wonderful! She really made my trip so much better! She clearly cares that patrons of the hotel and guests to the Temiskaming Shores really experience the friendly and welcome environment and amenities the town has to offer! Lovely person!”

“Would have been nice to know that the place is renovating rooms when we booked. Was extremely unpleasant to have all that noise until around 8pm and then again at 7am. Also the room was awful, toilet covered in pee stains and seems like they like to literally sweep all the crap under the bed, so gross. Room appeared to be recently updated however, they didn’t include shelves in the shower and you can literally see that they hired a crew who got all their skills from watching YouTube videos,……

“The rooms felt brand new and spotless, and the check in process was staggeringly simple. And you are literally 5 feet from the water.We could not have had a better experience, and we also did a cosplay photoshoot on the property which has easy access to visually striking lakeside views. Which was made even better by the hosts having a genuine interest as well.Thank you so much guys, we'll be back and we'll be recommending you!”

“It's was a good place nice and quiet. Perfect to relax in peace . The only minus is the fire place is to small and the wood was still in big log so I prefer not to use it . But the owner are really fast to respond to.our need . Thanks again nice place”

“Loved this place! Spacious and clean. Cottage came equipped with Everything you need! My only complaint was that you couldn't open windows because there were gaps in all screens and mosquitoes would get in. Would definitely recommend this cottage!”

“The host Ashley-Anne was very polite and greet us upon arrival. Check in was straight forward and parking was conveniently located. The suite was amiable. The room was clean with black robes/slippers and a very thoughtful welcome letter. The view of the lake was breathtaking. Access to kayaks and fire pit was very nice. Definitely worth the way! ”

“Recently renovated and converted property with large suites, adequately furnished with all basic furniture and kitchen appliances and dishes etc. Rooms were clean, linen was good quality, kitchen was clean and tidy. Great short term stay. ”
