“The only thing we can complain about is that we couldn’t stay forever with Cathy! The place is much better than expected (really, much better). Super well equipped, comfortable, clean, and with marvelous decoration. The area where the house is located is absolutely stunning. And of course, we must mention Cathy again, she is incredibly nice, kind, intelligent, talkative, and made our one-night stay feel like being with family. “Having a bar/restaurant on-site was very helpful. Parking was free and convenient. Only downfall is that the TV didn't work well at all and the location was a bit away from city centre, but that wasn't a huge priority for me. Breakfast was delicious”

“Only negative was that there wasn't an elevator. Staff in the bar/restaurant were very friendly and provided great service. Reception staff helped with baggage due to some of us being a bit incapacitated.”

“The check-in was very smooth. The staff member showed us through the property including the smoking area, public washrooms, the breakfast area and our room. It’s upstairs from a pub so we needed all that information to find the amenities. He showed us where to park the car for the night. A full Irish breakfast was included and it was wonderful. The food aitress who served us was lovely. We booked this at the last minute when our other accommodation fell through. We all had a good sleep. Five……

“Lovely stay at lord Beganals. The property is fabulous tastefully decorated and beautiful fresh flowers in the lobby. Staff are very friendly special mention to Karen and Kay breakfast team !! Food in restaurant also delicious and freshly prepared very efficient even though it was very busy Sleepy little village with lovely walk along the river If you want to make this place even more special consider adding a spa or pool. No matter we’ll be back 💚”

“There is no air conditioning but ceiling fan only, it will be hot during summer months like July and August. The staff in general are very helpful and sincere. The breakfast quality is good. ”
