We stayed for 2 nights and they upgraded our rooms. There should be good view through the window, but it was all walls of the other building. So not good view. Room was clean, quiet. Staff helpful.

I had a wonderful stay. The room and hotel was lovely and serene. The restaurant and bar had excellent and diverse food and drink and the service was fabulous. So too was the front desk staff who assisted me with travel arrangements I required at very short notice.

Perfect oasis in heart of Trichy
This was exactly what I had hoped for: a very quiet, clean and comfortable oasis within easy reach of the sights of Trichy. The web-site is very accurate in terms of photos. It is so new and clean, really immaculate, and the bed was super comfortable and large, with great linen. Bathroom perfect. Only thing is that it is located near a very busy road, so if you are a light sleeper do request a quieter room (I did and slept really well - Roshith at reception was great and he changed my room on check-in when I requested somewhere quieter, without hesitation). The pool area is very nice, but, again, it's just behind a busy road, so bring ear plugs or headphones if you want to chill here. Again, super clean area (it was nice they let me use the pool after check-out). Food was excellent, both the breakfast and dinner buffets. I liked the fact that the head chef came over to make sure everything was well. I'm not a huge fan of spicy food but it was done so well, it was a pleasure to try all the different dishes, and there were so many. For this price, it's unbelievable (at least for anyone from Europe). My only one comment for improvement would be to turn down and vary the 'mood' music which plays too loudly all over the hotel. I found I was not inclined to lounge in lobby or over meals, as there was a constant noise (I love Indian classical music but the constant flute playing got irritating). Room cleaning staff also very polite and helpful. Highly recommend!

Awesome place to stay..probably one of the best place with good amenities, the ppl who are friendly and accommodative towards request at any point of time. The hotel premise is very clean, the room are well kept , toilets are clean.

It was refreshing to see the new look of the hotel since we had been to the original Sangam hotel 6 years ago. Well designed rooms, dining and their lounge. The staff were par excellence. Food was great with a variety of cuisines. My wife and I will surely choose it again in our next trip.

When I went to the restaurant, the front desk supervisor assigned me a seating. I asked to be seated near the windows where I noticed many tables were available. However, the supervisor told me all tables along the window were occupied, which was not true. When I asked the server, he was able to move me to the table of my choice as there ware many options. I felt the supervisor's justure was very impartial and disrespectful. I have reported this incident to the front reception. Hope it will not repeat for others like myself.

Began with a bad first impression. They gave us a King size bed room when I specifically asked for Twin bed room. Even after reminding them while checking in, they led us to a King size bed room. Had to call them and get the room changed. The new room was next to service room which made the stay very unpleasant due to constant noise from the service room. The room was not cleaned properly. Floor outside and inside the room was not vacuumed. Not all staff in the restaurant can communicate comfortably in English or the local language Tamil. Once of the staff asked us to rush while having buffet lunch since they will be closing soon. Not very nice. While asking for railway station drop similar to what was offered in other Marriotts I have stayed in, they firmly said no for a free car service. Even though the railway station is just 1km. They don’t try to please customers at all. I am positive all these were due to the fact that I booked my stay from a third party website and not directly with the hotel. If they are going to treat customers who get discounted price from authorised third party websites, they should reconsider their business model again.

I was charged twice for my stay and have not received my refund that was promised. And while the promise of the original refund was there i was charged again for the amentities as in food. So in all it was actually 3 charges. Very sloppy or this would have been a fantastic stay
