Great stay but way too complicated for check in and getting a Konos card (we never got one). The breakfast door was locked and folks were trying to figure out how to get in, and only entered when someone left. Rooms are great for families.

We really enjoyed our stay. Our kids loved the bunk beds, and the room was very spacious and clean. The hotel was quiet, and the breakfast was nice. All of the staff were very friendly. We would stay again!

We had a great and very spacious room. Before coming we were concerned the roadside location could be noisy, but it is a very quiet road so no problems at all. Parking just outside the door. Very easy journey into the town, just a few minutes on foot. Breakfast is simple but good. The Action Forest next door was brilliant too. Strongly recommend.

Clean, quiet and safe hostel

Easy check-in by man at reception. He also took time to explain how to use access codes for front door and room, and showed me the shed to park my bicycle. Good selection of breakfast options (breads, pretzel, cereals, cheeses, hams, eggs, juice, coffee machine). Note: No/limited grocery options in Lake Titisee area. May be good to stock up on supplies at Titisee / Neustadt before getting to Lake Titisee town.

Good basic hotel across from the train station in Titisee. Free parking was helpful, and it was in walking distance to the Badeparadis. The included breakfast was good and well stocked. Note that there are rooms on the fourth floor and there is no lift, so that can be a slog. The rooms are traditional and a bit beaten around the edges, but fine — the only thing we missed were curtains for the window in the sitting room / bathroom area (or a door to close it off) so the early sun through the ceiling window wouldn’t wake us. My main complaint was check-in. The hotel badgers you twice a day for a week before your stay to do online check-in. I did it, and when I turned up at their check-in machine (there is no staffed reception), none of what you entered in online check-in has been noted and you have to enter it ALL, all over again. Very odd and annoying system.

Unfortunately we had a lot of problems with the check-in. It's an automated check in and when the system encountered problems, we had to make so many calls to fix the check in problems, and again lots of calls to get the right codes for the room. One should be prepared to have a phone & enough battery so you can make phone calls as there is no reception for check in. Also this happened to us around 6 pm so luckily someone picked the phone after a few tries. Not sure what would have happned if we had check in much later. The staff during breakfast were very helpful. Decent breakfast choices. Walking distance to Badeparadies. A few minutes walk from station (had to go around cuz there's no direct path) Seilpark which is at the hotel was good. Family room is very spacious and includes balcony. Had a separate room that we can close off for privacy which is perfect. Does not have air-conditioning but during our stay it was cold enough at night so we slept fine.

Not so easy to arrive after 6pm,when reception is closed; with codes to go inside the building and in the room. Lucky to find someone to help me. Decoration and furniture are minimalist in the room. Breakfast was good and nice people
