About this property

Home away from Home. Pet friendly.

  • Come relax in a comfortable home in a small GA town that still believes in quaint stores, friendly service & good food. Dogs are welcome for an additional pet fee. (details below).
    Toccoa hosts free country/jazz/rock bands downtown every Saturday night during certain summer months. Winter may drop a couple inches of snow and summer brings plenty of sunshine. We are 30 miles from Helen which is a stunning German themed town. Keep driving and you will be deep in the mountains within minutes. Toccoa falls is 5 mins away, Tallulah gorge 17 miles and within 30 miles in almost any direction, you are in the mountains. Bikers are welcome to bring their bikes and enjoy the curvy mountain rides!
    There is a burn barrel should you want a relaxing evening fire with outdoor furniture and folding chairs available in the shed for your use. There is a gas BBQ grill in the shed. (If you prefer a charcoal fire, there is a small charcoal grill on the front porch).
    There are Roku TV's in every room with regular TV service (make sure to take your sign in information if you subscribe to any specific platforms such as Netflix or Prime). There is video surveillance on the property which you can utilize to keep an eye on your dogs while away by contacting the host for access. There is free Wi-Fi available that is able to handle any devices you wish to bring.
    There is a double carport for covered parking. Parking for a camper or trailer is also available.
    There is a $50 pet fee per dog which can be added by clicking edit the number of guests once you are on the booking page. NO dogs on the beds or furniture please!! If you have more than one dog, the fee is $50 per dog payable directly to the owner. (There is a large dog crate available) Please contact owner for details and approval if you have multiple dogs.

Perfect Location

We stayed here for my son's wedding at Flat Rock Farm. The location was within walking distance which was super convenient. The surroundings are beautiful and quiet. We especially liked that our fur family could join us. The house was super clean and we had a pleasant stay.

Great weekend!

Me and a few buddies were in the area for a powerlifting meet. House location is so ideal, not too far from town, but off on its own for quiet nights. Host was very communicative and very friendly, was very kind to leave the fridge and pantry stocked with some things we might have needed.

Perfect Place

This cozy, comfortable cottage was the perfect setting for my sisters and me. We attended my granddaughter's wedding at Toccoa Falls. The cottage was in close proximity to everything. Our host outdid himself to make sure we had everything we might need. We loved staying there.

Amazing Spot in Toccoa

From start to finish this rental was great!! Hardy provides a great, well stocked home with extra amenities like breakfast foods that are provided just for you. The home is clean and well kept up. I think the Dog enjoy it the most. She could not get enough of playing in the fence yard that was very large. As for the humans in our party it was just a time to relax and get away from our tourist town. This was our first Vrbo experience and it was a good one.

Wonderful stay. Very clean living space and well manicured yard. Close proximity to Toccoa Falls, Helen, and a number of other attractions. Home away from home once again!

This is the second time we have stayed at this property. Once again everything was wonderful. Hardy is so easy to communicate with and makes sure that you have everything you need for your stay. This is an incredible home and such an incredible host! Hardy was communicative and understanding. We felt well taken care of the entire time. Breakfast included!

The description states "breakfast included" which I didn't really know what that meant when I booked. The owner is very hospitable and provided everything we needed for breakfast, including eggs, bagels, yogurt, and coffee. It didn't stop there, toiletries and plenty of towels were also provided. Wedding weekend

We chose the accommodations for the proximity to lake Toccoa events facility. My son’s wedding was held at this facility. The location was perfect for me to run back and forth for set up and getting ready for the wedding. Hardy was so kind and helpful. The house was perfect for our needs.

Lovely home!

The home owner keeps a lovely and functional 3 bedroom home! He was terrific at communicating, and completely helpful. We cooked several meals at the house and the kitchen is fully stocked. We appreciated having kitchen supplies so if we forgot bread or spices, etc, we were set. Everyone commented on how comfortable the beds were, including me, and I'm super picky about beds! Great for a small family or a couples get-away!

Needed a nice place in a quiet area and this property caught my eye as a home away from home.

Description and pictures of this property do it justice. Exactly what we expected. Home away from home in a nice quiet area. Fenced in yard was a plus for my dog so she could get some much needed exercise after a 6 hour trip to burn off some energy. Very clean and well stocked with eating/ cooking supplies and food. Property owner, Hardy kept in touch and was a text or phone call away if we needed him. If we ever come this way again, we will definitely be inquiring on the property again. Thanks for a wonderful stay!
