Great Place Overa

The cabin was exactly as described, very cozy, very charming. We had everything we needed for a 3 night getaway. The kids especially enjoyed sleeping in the loft with the rain drumming on the tin roof. I appreciated the small fenced in area where we could let our dog out, instead of having to leash her every time.

Nice, cozy cabin in the woods

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This cabin is a cozy little spot in a cabin community in the woods north of Boone. There was a cool, autumn breeze that would flow down the valley in the evening, and there was a quiet stillness at night. The bedding and appliances are top notch, and the rental company was very responsive and accommodating. It's a 10 minute drive to Jefferson and 25 minutes to Boone. So you have serenity in the woods or pubs in town at your convenience. I would stay here again.

Our favorite spot!

This is our second stay at this charming log cabin. We come up to visit our son and this spot is perfect. We love the two porches, especially the screened porch which overlooks the creek, and we often see deer strolling through the woods. The cabin has everything you need, including very comfortable beds!

Awesome Hidden gem

Enjoyed the cabin as well as the running creek. Very private and cozy. Saw a family of deer twice a day everyday . Highly recommend, would love to visit again.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Cute cabin, 2 king size beds were a plus if you were traveling with 2 couples, reasonably priced. Disappointed with the kitchen pots and pans(many need to be thrown out), silverware drawer feels like it wants to fall out when opened, no closets, hot tub water was cloudy and contained black particles that accumulated on the lower right side, never could figure out the upstairs shower, cabin was very dark inside, walkway to front porch was always muddy.

Great mountain weekend

Lovely cabin, perfectly sized for mom, dad and daughter, clean, great amenities, and close to West Jefferson for a wonderful day trip! Much needed relaxation in the hot tub and fire pit and the sound of the creek was like a lullaby. Would definitely stay here again!

Great place to relax

The house is adorable. Plenty of places to relax or enjoy family time. Loved using the firpit and listening to the creek at night. Enjoyed getting in the hot tub when it got chilly out. Overall great stay!

Peaceful mountain cabin

This is a wonderful cabin with all the amenities. Our favorite features are the two porches and the comfortable beds. Being able to sit on either porch and see deer and listen to the creek was so relaxing. My only suggestion is to have wine glasses available.
