Floydfest Stay
With virtually nothing available in Wilkesboro for Floydfest we found this very nice cabin in Todd. 45 min to Wilkesboro but an easy ride and not a dealbreaker. Cabin was very nice, quiet with a nice view of the New River right across the street. Wish I had brought my fly rod!

Great cabin getaway on the river!
Perfect cabin for family getaway! Enjoyed listening to the river running by and we had some snow, too. Grandson was excited to see a deer in the back and granddaughters found a basket of toys that made the weekend extra fun for them. Thank you!!

Beautiful Getaway
Beautiful cabin. Plenty of room for the whole family. Far enough away from town to have total peace and quiet but just a short twenty-minute drive to anything you might need. Will defiantly stay here again.

Relaxing weekend
This was our second trip to this cabin in Todd. We had a wonderful time. The facilities were excellent...just like last time. We LOVE the room to relax all together and play board games. We knew that there was bad weather expected. It is a comfort knowing that the cabin is not located up a large incline. We were just down the road from Boone and the ski resort. However, we were just far enough away for it to be a real break away from everything. Issues: 1. Lights outside should be fixed. More lighting on the front near steps and bulbs attended to on the side porch. 2. The dryer does not dry well. Not sure if it was an issue for just us. We tried many different settings.

Quiet/Restful Weekend
Two of my friends and I booked the house for a long girls weekend. It was quiet and peaceful. We loved the gas logs and the Christmas movies by the fire each morning while sipping our coffee. We drove into Boone and West Jefferson. The house is equal distance between both. The bedrooms were cozy and comfortable and it allowed us to spread out and have our own beds. The owner was easy to communicate with and responded in a very timely manner. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a quiet weekend getaway!
