Amazing views, perfect accommodations

Stayed the weekend for our New River Marathon and this was the perfect stay! We couldn’t get over the Mountain Views and enjoyed the front porch with the swing. Got some great recovery rest outside in the afternoon and had fun exploring downtown Boone. Wished we could have slow mornings on the couch every day!

A weekend home away from home

More than enough space for me and my husband. We came with no more plans than to rest and eat out and that's what we did! We had everything we needed, and it was nice and peaceful. My only complaint is the grass needed mowing BUT it was raining while we were there, so what can you do?

Weekend getaway

Nice & cozy place. We specifically enjoy the wood stove as it was cold & windy. Not secluded as they are neighbors on both sides. Beautiful mountain view up front and a swing to enjoy the view. We would stay there again and maybe hike at the state park nearby.

The Perfect Cabin!

We absolutely loved staying here. Such a nice property and beautiful views. The cabin is decorated extremely well and it feels luxurious to stay in. Absolutely recommend!

Precisely What We Needed

We were a family visiting our family in the area, this place was convenient to Boone and West Jefferson, clean, and comfortable. The large windows in the living room were a popular place to watch birds in the snow. Cozy, warm, would stay again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Rich Mountain Cabin. The cabin was very clean and had all the amenities we needed during our stay. Communication with the host was extremely quick and clear and the check in couldn't have been easier. The views from the front porch were excellent. Thank you!

Perfect Lil Spot

This house is set in the mountains with a beautiful view out the front window. It is easy to find and access with a fun and pretty drive up from US 421. The house meets the description to a T and we will definitely be planning another stay in the future.

Soaking in the foliage

We had a lovely time at this cottage in the mountains. It was a good home base for our area adventures. It is a dirt/gravel road to the house, but worth the trip up the hill.

Beautiful, clean, and quiet cabin with gorgeous views and plenty of space. Only downside was the small tv because my boyfriend has one eye but we improvised and used our laptop to watch tv so it worked out. Other than that the stay was amazing and would love to stay there again in the future.

Sweet getaway

It was a great stay. We were so thankful for the flexibility. The only thing I would say is the beds aren’t super comfy even though they are new. We ended up having to make shift with pillows to make it more comfortable to sleep on. Despite that we will definitely be back and couldn’t recommend the place enough.

Wonderful Experience, Highly Recommend!!

We very much enjoyed our stay at this cozy little home with some amazing views. Very nicely updated with a boho chic vibes, owners have definitely out in some love and kept every detail in mind. You are off the beaten path somewhat, and the driveway was a little tricky for my RWD but I was able to get the hang of it. Thank you for allowing us to stay, I loved your home!
