Premium studio room for three days over US Thanksgiving, Wednesday through Friday. New, modern, very well built with a beautiful bathroom However, a small room with only one chair, the bee and nightstands. There were two plastic chairs on the balcony. No hot tub or other amenities. Not great for a couple if the weather is bad and you have to spend much time in the room. At nearly $400 a night with the tax - expensive for off season; only a couple other guests.

Room was tiny but very clean. Incredible balcony view. Felt more like a very nice motel than a hotel. There is no housekeeping unless you ask, but they only leave 2 mugs and 2 coffee pods so you have to arrange for these things to be swapped/replenished with the front desk if you want more than one mornings coffee. No amenities or onsite shared facilities. Literally just a room. It wasn’t a problem for us, but it certainly wasn’t a “luxury stay” as boasted on the website.

Loved Duffin Cove! Especially the very private balcony overlooking the ocean. Beautiful. Also loved the town location with access to all the shops and restaurants. Super comfy bed and beautiful bathroom too!

The staff were amazing. The view of the room is amazing. Exactly as they show on the photos. The hotel’s location is super good and close to everything. Staff allowed us to stay a bit later for checkout, which was very sweet.

Really beautiful view from the room, staff were welcoming and gave us a treat as it was our honeymoon which was really lovely. Small things but it wasn't accessible with bags all all you had to go up and down multiple flights of stairs and there wasn't any laundry service, the one in town being rated as appalling.

Cozy room but…

Great room that was clean and comfy. The bed was cozy and the bathroom was clean and large. Had a small fridge in room (no freezer) and a coffee machine where you could get extra pods at the front desk. For ice you ask the front desk or go to a liquor store up the street. My only meh was that it was very hot and humid and there is no AC or dehumidifier (there is one but it heats the room). You need to open the sliding door and hope the curtain keeps the mosquitoes out (we ended up having to light a citronella candle since the mosquitoes still came and ate my legs)

Be aware the hotel does not have airconditioning! They do not clean your room unless you are there 3+ days according to a note in the room. In our room were a couple of dead wasps. When we arrived our TV did not work correctly, the safe did not work either, you need to grab the coffee capsules during reception times (not there all day). Ocean view only sideways from balcony, from inside view only on other rooms/ land. Staff is ok but not welcoming though they did take care of the issues like the safe. Location is good (no car beendet in Tofino). Overall way overpriced for what they deliver but probably due to Location.
