「We loved the outdoor fire pits! We don’t have that at home so it is very nice to enjoy a bonfire with the sounds of waves near us. It was very relaxing 10/10! The staff here were very very lovely. The grill was good although we were getting very tired and was waiting for our check for about 15 mins. Otherwise everything was amazing!」

「I was a bit nervous about staying here after reading some other reviews. But when we got there, the lady at the front desk was super welcoming and friendly. Then we went to our room, number 106. I was really surprised at how clean it was, and it smelled so fresh. The room is a bit old-fashioned, but it was really cozy, and everything worked perfectly. The bed was soft and comfy. 「What a perfect setting in the woods and close to everything ie. Lutsen and Grand Marais. A few initial small glitches; however, Mr. Smothers was MORE than accommodating especially given it was Thanksgiving day. Pool was closed; however, the public pool in Grand Marais was open. A setting were several quiet walks with family was very relaxing and therapeutic! I HIGHLY recommend THE HIBERNATION HOUSE! 」
