This little 3-storey hotel has a front desk open 6am to midnight and a small breakfast open until 10am.
There were laundry facilities but the dryer didn’t really work, and the hotel wouldn’t supply extra coins for an extra try, because the washer/dryer is a separate company (!).
Our Room 207 supplied two twin beds, robust AC, a mini-fridge, a micro shower/sink room separated by a folding door from the private toilet. Plenty of power outlets and LED nightlights for each head.
From the outdoor walkway to our room, we could see the top 1/3 of the lighted Tokyo Sky Tree which is a couple km east walk away.
A great grocery store is a 2-minute walk and it’s a 10- min walk to the orange metro liner that goes directly to Tokyo Station. Only 5-minutes further to the busier, louder Sensoji Temple area with and modern restaurants and shops and other amenities.
Staff were polite enough and spoke Mandarin as well as Japanese and some English. Next time, I would choose a hotel closer to the Temple, or maybe sample a new Tokyo neighbourhood.
