During my seven-day stay at this hotel, there was an issue with room cleaning service on the last night. On the sixth day, I followed protocol by hanging the cleaning tag on my door before 10 AM. However, when I returned at 11 PM, I only found a bag of clean towels hanging outside, and the room remained uncleaned.
When I reported this to the front desk, a female staff member claimed I hadn't placed the cleaning tag, showing me a photo taken by their housekeeping staff that morning as evidence. However, the photo only captured the upper portion of the door, not the entire door. I showed the staff that the cleaning tag was no longer on my door, proving that housekeeping had already removed it.
Two major issues stand out from this incident:
1. The staff jumped to conclusions without proper investigation, essentially accusing me of lying.
2. The duty manager completely ignored this unprofessional conduct, never addressing the situation or offering an apology, only speaking with the female staff member.
This lack of respect, proper service, and professional conduct was extremely disappointing.
